Super cute! They are made very well for the price of them. I bought them on sale and the colours were pastel like the description. I ended up returning them because they weren’t exactly what I was looking for for my babies nursery.

I was looking for the perfect ornament for our newborn's first christmas. We want to start the tradition of getting one ornament every year and upon turning 18, we can give our kids a starter box of special ornaments they can take with them. We have done a hot air balloon theme in the nursery and this ornament is legitimately perfect. It is insanely excellent quality - a truly beautifully crafted item that I am proud to have as an heirloom for years to come. I would highly recommend ordering from this company!

We first thought of using this multicolor vintage-style balloon as a Christmas decoration (and we are, by placing Santa beanie baby in the basket), but it would be fantastic without him at any time of year. Also, you could place a leprechaun in it for St. Patrick’s day, or a bunny for Easter, or Uncle Sam for July 4th, or a goblin for Halloween… The item is very well-made with fine details all over it. There is no assembly required. I advise saving the box for storage if you’re not going to keep it out all the time; the curves have special packing that is very specific. The cost varies quite a bit during year, so watch it for a while before buying.

I purchased the Royal Aero Balloon and found it to be beautifully made, with quality craftsmanship evident in every detail. Unfortunately, however, I can't rate it five stars because the Amazon description for the Royal Aero is incorrect. According to the product specs and the pictures, the balloon should have arrived with sandbags and toggles, neither of which was present. Also, the description specifies that the diameter of the balloon is 22 inches. In fact, the CIRCUMFERENCE of the balloon is 22 inches, meaning that the diameter is only 7 inches, much smaller than I was led to believe. The packaging was poor, as well......it arrived loosely in a box, with no protective padding of any kind. It really is a beautiful product and I was so excited to find it since I hoped to use it liven up my rather drab office. It's too small to have much of an impact, however, so I will be returning it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was looking for a gift to commemorate a recent hot air balloon festival that we attended and this was spot on to one we actually saw.

Although the balloon itself is cute, I just wasn't able to straighten out the lopsided basket. This perhaps is a workmanship defect and maybe a lack of attention to detail.

I purchased the large blue/white balloon to use as a prop at our local Dickens Christmas Fair when discussing the ballooning with visitors. I was looking for a balloon model that resembled a Victorian hot air balloon and, after viewing many other models and manufacturers, chose this one, since there are no other models out there as detailed and beautiful as this one. The Authentic Models replica is very well constructed and quite detailed -- it has hand-knotted netting over the balloon bag, a wicker basket complete with ballast bags, and a small pennant. It turned out to be a great conversation starter! The balloon comes packed in a separate cardboard box that includes a custom styrofoam form that wraps around and protects the balloon while being stored. The balloon bag itself is rigid, with the basket suspended below it by ropes. (The balloon will not stand on its own and must be hung.) For display purposes, I purchased a wall-mounted Panacea 85014 Plant Bracket (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001D1X1HO/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_17) which complements the balloon perfectly. After the Christmas Fair ends, I plan to display this balloon at home and, perhaps, purchase another one (or two) smaller balloons to hang with it. (NOTE: The smaller balloons do not have the little ballast bags.)
