I didn’t receive the item, but the seller did everything right, it’s the courier service that failed here. I’ve ordered these before. They are as described. They work well and at a very good price. They are well made and feel safe to use. The courier service delivered them to the wrong address and denied it. I feel bad asking for a refund when this seller wasn’t the problem. I highly recommend this seller, I don’t recommend the courier service Amazon hired for this.

We’ve all been there (or at least, if you’re reading this, you’re here right now). You’ve found the *perfect* bulb for your lamp / ceiling / whatever… But it’s a bayonet fit, and the socket is screw in. Choices - find another bulb ☹️, remove the holder and replace it 😬, or… get one of these 👍😁 Yes, it makes the bulb stick out a bit more, but compared to the other options… These ones are sturdy, couldn’t be easier to use, and are a darn sight cheaper than replacing the socket.

These really only make financial sense if you are using expensive bulbs - it’s cheaper to buy new cheap bulbs than buying these adaptors. These are really handy and save you from having to buy more bulbs. I needed some new screw in hive bulbs which are really expensive but I already had some Hive bayonet type ones and thought an adapter would be a cheaper solution. Well yes and no. Yes - They fit the adapter really well (make sure you buy the right size!) and they are a lot cheaper than a new hive bulb. No - they add quite a bit of height to the bulb - so if the lamp shade is small they will stick out over the top which isn’t a good look. See photo. Worth it though if you have big shades.
