the Install for my k1se was pretty smooth and everything made sense. In terms of the CFS it does its job and it will auto feed well. Though it does seem like a few filaments have trouble and not because of the filament itself but certain spool brands just don’t fit in there well but other multifilament systems like this have the same issue so meh. Still great and works well with most of what i print with and keeps with other brands with similar multicolor filament systems

Why did you pick this product vs others?: easy to install. Good quality, more issues than without but worth it! Clogging: More issues with clogging than without and a bit more difficult to clear out

Doesn't retract which makes this a very expensive filament holder.

This is a great addition to my K2 Plus Combo. I decided to get another one so that I can have 8 spools at the ready. Having 4 available to go, to include printing in multiple colors, is great. But now that I have the ability to have more colors is fantastic. The only problem I have is with the Amazon delivery person. I understand that people get tired near the end of their day. But to callously toss a person's order, especially if it is electronic, is unprofessional disrespectful. I watched the video feed from my doorbell camera and was not happy. Luckily, for her, the unit is packaged very well.

Jammed because of user error, it works great when I'm not an idiot that day, I even did the heater mod where you 3d print the heater kit to take the guts out of the dual dryer/heater & jam it in the this CFS works pretty good

I purchased the CFS and upgrade kit for the K1C and couple of months ago. Setup was fairly easy but may be very challenging for others. Pros: Filament storage and ease of printing in different colors. Cons: Frequent jamming, inconsistent printing, only really compatible with the RFID Creality roles. I run into feed issues with the generic Creality roles. A CFS failure led to a blockage and I have had to order a replacement hot head and nozzles. All in all, you wouldn't expect something to work this poorly and inconsistent for the cost. Overall verdict - Decent prints when it works, but value for cost is not there.

If you are simply updating a K2 to a CFS system, this will be a direct install solution. If you are attempting to upgrade your existing K1 and K1 Max to multicolor, understand that you are very much getting no support once you install the provided firmware. The firmware is borked and you won’t be able to run flow calibration. Creality doesn’t seem to actively support this, despite selling the upgrade kits.

Purchased for my son to upgrade his printer. Easy to set up. He loves it! Creality products have been great.
