Granite GearMen's Minimalist

Purchased as a light weight wallet for backpacking. Easily holds an I.D., credit card, and some folding money, with room to spare. A nice fit into the smaller pockets of my hiking pants, or clip onto my key lanyard inside my pack. Pricey, but cheaper than the ones offered elsewhere.

Lightweight, durable and functional. I used this for a backpacking trip and liked it so much I'm not using it for other travel, like air travel. Certainly keeps down the bulk! BTW, other comments suggest credit cards don't fit -- they actually DO! Just angle the cards and slide 'em into place! Makes it so they don't easily slip out unintended. The attached 'biner makes this the perfect package -- I can clip it to my pack loop, belt loop, briefcase and know right where it is.

Very light weight. Well made. Included carabiner is nice. Granite Gear is always good. stuff. Could have been a little wider. I struggle to put in credit card, license, insurance card, and dollar bills. It fits, but it takes some wiggling. I haver very small hands and I can see someone with larger fingers having a hard time.

I went back and forth and eventually bought this little pouch for dog treats. The color and design sold me, so yeah I will go for the cool factor.The pouch/wallet is basic but well made. Zipper is smooth. The clip is easy to use (I added the metal clothes pin so that I can clip on t-shirts of sweatshirts).Size is very small and also lightweight. I can't feel this clipped on when I'm out walking. It will hold my driver's license, credit card, a couple of bills folded up, and mini dog treats for the dog. That's all I wanted to carry, so all good.This is a high end product that I plan to use for a long time and for carrying just the few things I mentioned. It's not the right product for a lot of needs, but it's great for what I needed/wanted. I'm very happy with it (and so is my new puppy).

I bought this as a gift for a backpacker friend who was looking for a lightweight wallet option to house keys cards and cash. Great color and super light weight.

Smaller than shown. Disappointed by size. You can just fit one key inside. That's all.

Super cute. You can hang it on your pack strap or tuck it in a pocket. Wish it were seam taped. Other than that great.

As with all products, one's satisfaction is determined by whether the product works well for the purpose which you intended it for. If you are looking for a hiker wallet that will hold everything a regular wallet holds, this product is not for you. I am more of a walker and/or "tourist hiker." I am not going out for three day treks through the back woods, I am going out for five mile hikes through the countryside. All I usually carry with me is a key, an ID and a $20 bill. For this purpose, the wallet works perfectly. I especially like that it has a carabiner that I can hook into a loop in my hiking pants/shorts or the inside of my rain jacket pocket. Being able to hook it in provides an extra level of security from loss (and probably from pickpockets when travelling). It is not incredibly sturdy, but it should be fine if not overstuffed. I am happy with the product.
