It has a very good distinct taste. Malted Milk Powder is used for making Malted Milk Shakes. I think in the 1950s Malted Milk Shakes were very popular I also like to sprinkle it over ice cream. There is a chocolate candy called "Whoppers" that is favored with Malted Milk. If you have a Dairy Queen or a Johnny Rockets Restaurant I believe they sell Malted Milk Shakes. Malted Milk does not dissolve well .You just put a small amount of it in a shake.
