Lovely!! True to size. Size up if you want less of a bodycon fit. I didn't lose any sequin when worn. I also didn't notice any shedding like mentioned in other post. The sequins under my arms was a little scratchy, but I expected it and it wasn't so bad that I wouldn't wear it again. For the price, it's a MUST BUY! But, only if you don't mind the attention 😉

I first bought this dress in the blue ombre back in 2018. I wore it to a cocktail dinner and got loads of compliments. The fit is perfect. It has just enough stretch and isn't too heavy. The dress languished in my closet for years, unworn and forgotten. This past May (2023), I had to help chaperone the 8th-grade dance at my school and shuffled through my closet for a cute but appropriate party dress. I found this dress, smooshed at the back, and pulled it out. After years of being squashed and unloved, it still looked great. Would it fit, though? The pandemic hadn't been kind to any of us. I pulled it over my head, and it still looked great, and it fit! Huzzah! I put on some cute heels and dashed back to school. The other staff offered many compliments, and even the students who, work really hard not noticed teachers are actually people, commented on how great I looked. I got several, "Mrs. B! You look...wow!" What higher compliment can there be?I'm here to buy one in a different color to wear to chaperone this year's dance.

I really wanted to like this dress, but there was way too much material in the hips. The sequin was also really uncomfortable on the underside on the arm area. The length was perfect for me at 5’6” but this is not something I would wear all night long.

Used this for a Taylor Swift halloween costume and will wear again! Great fit (true to size) and great quality. Really nice party dress.

Wore the dress to a Mom Prom. Super comfortable, able to dance the night away. The sequins did not rub or scratch as the dress is completely lined. The liner does shed some small pieces of material as previous ratings noted, but they sweep up easily.

I receive tons of compliments when I wear this to a New Year’s party. However, it is super itchy and scratchy and little bits of black cloth kept falling off anytime I adjusted when the dress hiked up my leg. I don’t know how long this dress will last because it seems like it was falling apart after one wear. I am 5 foot tall and 190 pounds and it fit great and it even looks fabulous. Just itchy. Maybe a slip underneath would help the scratchiness.

This dress is comfortable, easy to wear and a show stopper! So. Pretty. True to size, but if in between sizes, go down.

Based on the size guide, XXL should have been a bit too large for me, but I ordered it because I didn't want it super tight. However, the dress that came was labeled XXL but it was AT LEAST 2 sizes smaller, I could barely get it over my head, let alone shimmied down over my hips. I'm really disappointed, it is so pretty and high quality. I might order another to see if it was just a fluke. Will edit review if that is the case.

It looks great under party lights. I got los of compliments.size is normal. I bought small size, it works well for me. I am 5’4”, 125lbs

I was really excited when I bought this dress because it was exactly what I was looking for. When I pulled it out of the bag sequence fell out everywhere. I then tried it on …. It just covered my bottom. Not something I could wear out to a work event. The sizing is off for sure. Everywhere else fit perfectly but I felt like I was putting a piece of child’s clothing on. The under layer is also very cheaply made. Very disappointed.

When ordering clothes, it really helps to read the customer reviews. That's why I'm leaving this review; because this dress is perfect! I'm 5'8"; 195 lbs, with a "regular" body shape (i.e. not bigger or smaller bust vs butt). I'm a typical XL and that's what I ordered. It fits perfectly, not too snug and not too loose and the length is plenty - not too short at all. The quality is great, with the under lining a very appropriate purple shade for periwinkle/fuschia/purple one that I ordered. Very happy with it and highly recommend it!
