I think I paid $5 or so for a hundred strips. That is a ridiculous price. As to how they perform: I definitely work, I mainly got these to read the nitrate to help me run to plant a tank. I have the API test kits but they're a pain to use. I found that I probably will still use the API test kit frequently. It just seems to be more accurate. The seacem test kits for nitrate and phosphate may even be better than the API ones, they are certainly a lot easier to use. Anyway, everything was as I would have expected. I think these test strips the accuracy is like plus or minus 30% or something. The pH reading seems to be right on though. It will get you in the general ballpark for sure for all your parameters. But you're not going to be able to maintain an exact 5 to 10 PPM accuracy window for nitrate with these I think. By far the worst aspect about them is how pungent they smell chemically. I don't think I would dip this directly into my aquarium. And it comes with a little tube so you don't have to do that. Just saying! I think if you only have a few particular parameters you care about, and you don't want the smell, you might as well just buy a test strip with only those things. More tests isn't necessarily better in all cases. It does come with a thermometer as well, which probably will get you in the ballpark as to your tank's temperature, but I wouldn't rely on it for accuracy. But really, all things considered, if you just want a cheap test kit and know the ballpark of all your water parameters really, this will do the job. And the price is phenomenal honestly the test strips will probably go bad before you use them all. The nitrate and nitrate at least did on my other test strips, most of the other parameters are fine. They tend to absorb water from the air if you don't keep them dry and that ruins some of the tests.

Honestly kind of awful. I would take the info given from these strips with a grain of salt. It kept saying my aquarium ph was super low. I would adjust and test again and again. Never really changing much. Finally I got a liquid ph test due to all the ph issues i thought i was having, and it says otherwise, by a lot! Honestly not really worth it in my opinion. At least not for ph, the only thing I saw change was nitrates and nitrites. Everything else is just always the same no matter what.

Easy to use

Get what you pay for... Not accurate but kinda works on some tests. Chlorine seems to work ok. Ammonia not so much. You really need a liquid test kit. These strips can give you a ballpark. You get a ton of strips for the money. And you get free thermometers to make up for the quality. Okay if you don't need very accurate results.
