Flushmate Original Part ST100200 Tool kit removal/installation tool (includes Discharge-Nut wrench and Cartridge wrench)

About the only way to remove the valve without damage. These are one of those things that when you need it, you need it, and then will lose it before your next use.

I couldn’t unscrew the cartridge without this part.

Easy to use and works good and necessary for repair of sloan flushmate.

I like that is the same material as the part that were to be replaced and we didn’t damage or installed incorrectly due the tool because we as plumber we don’t have the right tool from time to time in most jobs and it makes it hard but this time was different so plumbers out there get this tools they are the best

I struggled mightily on an old Flushmate that may have not been changed in a dozen years or more. This tool helped immensely and removed and tightened the new cartridge with ease.

If you want the hexagonal cartridge wrench don't buy this kit.The tools listed in the product description are included. However, I bought this based on the title and the photos which are incorrect. Both indicate that the hexagonal cartridge wrench is included, but it is not. However, the 3-in-1 tool has prongs on the end that could in theory be used to remove and install a cartridge. Unfortunately the tool is plastic and it bends under the force needed to screw the cartridges in or out causing it to pop out of position. Also it puts the force on only two cartridge fins. I broke two fins this way almost leaving me with a stuck cartridge. If you need a hexagonal cartridge wrench buy it separately, because it is not in this kit.

While you can use other tools (Pliers, big Channellocks etc.) to do the job - this set (made from reinforced plastic) will not scratch or damage anything if dropped. Other sources sell these tools individually as part # ST100100 2-in-1 wrench and part # ST100500 cartridge wrench - but the sources I could find get almost $20 each for them.
