Let's be realistic, first and foremost.. This IS PROTEIN. It is NOT a cake. That said, It's QUITE DELICIOUS for what it is!! Please try! And it's slightly softer to match the texture of the actual cake! 5/5!

I ordered several different flavors but read the reviews after I ordered. I first checked the expiration date because I see a lot of folks saying they got them expired. So they expire in October 2026 so it’s all good. The box was not crushed and the bar wasn’t old. I just had half and it’s like a candy bar but not super sweet. But over all it’s not bad. I would ordered this flavor again. The brookie flavor is good too! Just tried the Zig zag and it is absolutely disgusting!!! Guess I will be taking the other 3 to work see if someone else will like them. YUCK DONT get this flavor the after taste is horrible. I’m disappointed because for 4 bars it’s pricey!

The zig zag cake is so good. I’m usually not a fan of protein bars and never really liked pure protein, but the zig zag cake has a softer texture with 19 grams of protein for 190 calories. It has a little moisture to to it and has 3 grams of sugar with 5 grams of sugar alcohols, just so you’re aware. It is a nice treat when you’re trying to avoid sweets but want something that reminds you of cake.

For zigzag: Taste and especially texture are weird. Just tastes sweet yet also not? The bar sticks together in your mouth. Overall weird eating experience but I will continue to eat them, no food waste over here. Fruity pebbles flavor is better. Still a bit of a weird texture. The brownie/cookie one is the best from the three. No texture issues. Taste is good. Update: 3 stars now. Texture is way better if refrigerated which allows you to focus on the taste more. Taste is good, especially on the fruity pebbles and brookie (my fav).

I like these!!! I normally eat Quest Nutrition bars but wanted some variety. These are a great alternate for my selection. Not dry, nice taste. Not artificial tasting. I know some may argue this is a protein candy bar. That’s ok, argue away. It works for me as it’s still a nice dose of protein in my opinion. Seems like a good value for the money compared to some other options that have less protein and more calories. I vote that you give it a shot. I do the subscribe and save so it’s like $1.25/bar. I’m ordering the fruity pebbles and zebra cake looking ones next. Excited!

Tastes okay. Love that it has 19g protein per bar. Makes a great protein pick me up during to day if you’re trying to hit macros. A little pricey for what you get. Took off a star because the top layer (which is the “cookie” layer) is very dry and sticks to the roof of your mouth if you don’t have anything to wash it down.
