At 74 years old, this is a game changer. Great coverage, not sticky and my complexion looks flawless. I’ve been using a high priced powder “baked” makeup that settles in my fine lines. Watching videos on the best options for mature skin most suggested a cream foundation. I assumed I needed more coverage but decided to try a less expensive cream to test. I hit the nail on the head first time with this product. I love, love, love the stick application, less messy and less waste of makeup. It’s light, buildable and gives me the look I have been wanting at a GREAT price. Who would have guessed I would return to a brand I wore in my 20’s. When I saw an influencer using this, I was intrigued. I love the idea of something you can put on quickly and I haven't used a foundation stick in years. It was a little difficult for me to figure out my shade but I finally found an acceptable one. The issue I had was that my skin is adjusting to a new acid and I had drying skin I didn't know of and it absolutely emphasized it. When I tried it again, I prepped my skin better and this time it looked great. It has a fantastic price. It has a safiny finish that I love. It isn't sticky but feels slightly heavier than liquid to me. But I do not recommend it for dry skin and I think even for me, I will like it more in the summer. And keep in mind, you can buy shades for contouring and highlighting as well. I didn't take note of the time, but I did wear it most of the day and I thought it still looked pretty good so I think it last quite a while. I definitely recommend trying it especially since you can't beat the price.

I have never been good with makeup. I grew up in the 80s when blue eye shadow was a thing and nobody outside Hollywood had ever heard of contouring. Despite this, seeing all these amazing face transformations on the socials made me really want to figure it out, so I bought this stuff. It works great, at least I think it would work great in the hands of someone who knew how to use it. For me it works ok, though I continue to have delusions of learning to contour like the girls on Tiktok. But, regardless, considering my lack of skill, I think it says a lot about this product that 1) I can tell a difference when I use it and 2) it blends well enough that it doesn't look like I just haven't washed my face in a couple weeks (a look I'm familiar with from prior attempts with other products).

Not creamy enough for mature skin but blends welll

I really like the Maybelline Lifter Stix! It goes on so smoothly and feels light on the skin. I love how easily it blends — it gives a natural, seamless finish without much effort. It’s great for everyday wear and adds a nice glow without being too heavy. Definitely a new favorite in my makeup routine!
