The correct plug is fitted
When I bought this product it did not say that it had a 2 pin plug fitted not the 2’3 pin one we use in this country. When I contacted the seller they said it was produced for the German market and I needed to buy an adapter. I don’t think this is very satisfactory.

Good but retractable diffuser and short cable are annoying
The retractable diffuser sounds like a good idea but it retracts too easily meaning that while drying your hair you have to keep twisting the end as it starts to retract. Another negative is that the power cable isn't very long and so unless you have a socket directly next to a mirror (which I don't!) you have to either stretch or buy an extension cable!!Having said all of that, it is a good hairdryer. Unlike some hairdryers, it's virtually impossible to change any of the heat or speed settings while drying you hair so you won't have to mess about with that. The diffuser works well when its not retracting and it's comfortable to use.I recommend this if you have a socket next to your mirror and the patience not to get annoyed with the diffuser retracting!Hope this helped. =)

Vidal Sassoon diffuser
THIS HAIRDRYER HAS A RIDICULOUSLY SHORT LEAD!!! Unless your plug socket is directly next to your mirror, you are 5ft tall and have short arms-you are going to have a problem with this. The lead is 3ft shorter than my previous Vidal Sassoon hairdryer, I'm extremely disappointed that such a well respected company could make such an obvious and avoidable error. It does not mention this fault in the product description, ideally all hairdryer descriptions would include lead length. You would'nt think it necessary as one assumes the length would be adequate but somehow they overlooked it when releasing this model. Besides that, the buttons are a bit awkward to use and the carry case pictured is different to one received with product.My verdict is-save your £20 for something else, I don't recommend buying this product.

A good dryer with disappointing diffuser
This is a good dryer, but it has its weakness - the diffuser. If it stayed on nicely the dryer would be really good (the diffuser makes the roots to dry so much quicker), but it retracts very easily and so it is very frustrating to use. My sister bought a dryer of the same make but a different model which came with a diffuser too. That one stayed intact and was pleasant to use, so they aren't all bad.This is an OK buy if you are bot bothered about the diffuser.

Der Fön war leider vom klang her viel zu laut und hat auch durch seine Leistung nicht punkten können. Außerdem hat er die Haare eingesogen, wenn man kopfüber die Haare föhnen wollte (bei längeren Haaren).

Der Fön ist sehr interessant beschrieben worden. Von dem angepriesenem glänzenden Haar ist nichts zu merken. Es ist ein ganz normaler Fön, welcher gut in der Hand liegt.

Nachteile und Vorteile
1. Der Fön ist sehr, sehr laut!!2. Er ist sehr lang und unhandlich - also für kleinere Benutzerinnen Vorsicht - da sind sonst Beulen am Kopf vorprogrammiert.3. Der Diffusor ist absolut billiger Schrott und schlecht konzipiert - die Abstandshalter rutschen laufend rein - das ist bei diesem Preis und dem Namen meines Erachtens nach untragbar.4. Es gibt aber auch Positives: Der Fön trocknet auch viele Haare schnell durch die sog. Ionentechnik wie angegeben.5. Auch glänzen die Haare schön, wie in der Produktbeschreibung angegeben.Wenn mich jemand fragen würde, ob ich diesen Fön noch mal kaufen würde, muss ich ehrlicherweise sagen, ich kann es nicht sagen.
