Scuffed plastic pieces :(
I checked several of these buttons, and all that I looked at were scuffed up. I've not used them yet, but I was disappointed that they went to the trouble and waste of individually wrapping each button, yet the plastic was still scratched and scuffed and not clear looking. The buttons were kind of hard to open at first, but once I figured it out, just pop them out, it was fine. They are a medium size, on the larger size for a button, but not huge, they are a weird middle size, between normal small button and normal large button. The pin backing seems to press up against whatever is inside the button, so if you're using plain paper, it may break through that. I'd suggest using some kind of backing for whatever you put in there. If they weren't so scuffed I would say it was a great value, but these feel like sub-par quality. So I'm not thrilled with them.

Love These!
I really love these pins! Simple and easy to use. No need for one of those pin machine things. I used a weeding tool to open them up which works very very well. I also used my cricut to do a print then cut image for each of them sized to 2.1 inches around so that it fits just perfectly inside. The backings pop right back on and they look really nice!. For the price, these are amazing. I highly recommend these if you want to make some simple pins!

Easy-to-customize pins! I recommend these wonderful pins.
These are wonderful pins to customize. Every 3 months, I get a medical checkup. I love to make special things to give to the staff and patients. Last time, I made pins for the various people who take such good care of me, and they loved them. Some wear their pins every day, and I really love it when they do that.

Difficult to pop open... broke it and my nail
It's a great quality button... if I could get it to open. Had to go searching for a tool just to wedge in that little semicircle to pop it open. Still trying to pry it open. Some are a little more loose that you can open without a tool but the rest are not.Update: this snapped in half and my fingernail broke off too trying to open it... ouch.
