I grabbed this highlighter out of curiosity because the color shift looked interesting, and I have to admit I wasn’t expecting much given the price point. Wet n Wild used to be one of those classic “cheap drugstore” brands most of us tried years ago when we first started experimenting with makeup. But wow… they have seriously stepped up their game. This formula genuinely surprised me. The texture is described as liquid-to-baked, and that’s actually a pretty accurate way to describe it. It feels smooth and slightly creamy when you touch it, but it applies like a soft powder. On the skin it blends really easily without looking chalky or dusty. The finish is luminous and reflective without turning into a chunky glitter situation, which is something a lot of budget highlighters struggle with. The color shift effect is subtle but really pretty. When the light hits it you can see the shift, which gives it that multidimensional glow that reminds me of much more expensive highlighters and even some high-end shimmer eyeshadows. What really stood out to me is how well this shows up on different skin tones. On deeper complexions especially, the glow looks stunning instead of ashy, which is something that can happen with lighter highlighters. The tone has enough depth and reflect that it pops beautifully on darker skin while still looking smooth and radiant rather than frosty. It’s also buildable, so you can keep it soft for everyday wear or layer it up if you want that full glowing highlight moment. Another thing I like is how versatile it is. It works well as a cheek highlight, but I’ve also used it lightly on the inner corners of the eyes and on the lids for a quick shimmer look. It has that same reflective quality you’d expect from pricier shimmer shadows, which makes it feel like more than just a one-use product. Honestly the biggest shock here is the value. The quality feels way above the price. If you handed this to me without the packaging, I could easily believe it came from a mid-range or higher-end brand. Wet n Wild has quietly been improving their formulas over the years, and this really shows it. They’re not just the “starter drugstore brand” anymore. At this point they’re absolutely competing with brands that cost a lot more. I am so impressed with this highlighter! It has so much dimension and color and depth- out of all the highlighters I’ve used this is by far the most unique and pretty one. Extremely eye catching and can be applied to make it more subtle or over the top! I purchased to wear during the Renaissance Faire with my costume and I’m so glad it did- it made even subtle makeup look amazing! I’m not one to wear a lot of makeup on normal days so I don’t know if I’d wear it when I wasn’t dressing up but I’d definitely wear it to concerts and other events beyond Ren Faire. It does, of course, have some fall out but way less than I would expect from a cheaper brand like Wet n Wild, and when I used setting spray over it it lasted for hours and hours with virtually no transfer and fall out. I even dusted it over my shoulders and collarbones without setting spray and while it did transfer some to my top (which was fine because it’s Ren Faire and the more glitter the better haha) I was surprised to find that the majority stayed on my skin all day even though I was taking a cloak and shrug off and on. A little goes a LONG way so this will last forever! I really can’t get over how pretty and how high quality this seems. I highly recommend it! UPDATE: Use the L’Oreal Infallible setting spray over this and it stayed ALL DAY on a hot and rainy FL weekend. Super impressive!

I love this product! I’m 69 and my face is full- this highlighter makes it look healthy with a soft glow. It is creamy , very easy to apply and stays on long. The price is fantastic! I recommend buying Wet and Wild Mega Glo!

Got this in the hopes that it would fill the void that my beloved Aura (Profusion Cosmetics) left behind. It’s got a similar color shift, it just isn’t quite as pigmented as I hoped. That said, it’s still a stunning highlighter!

LOVE IT! I wasn't sure how well it worked and bought it because I randomly lost my Jefree Starr highlighter which is 5x more expensive than this stuff. It's a good temporary replacement. It blends in well enough. I will only be keeping it until the Jefree Starr highlighter goes on sale but for now it looks good enough!

Im a big fan of marilyn monroe .This product is so lovely gives a highlight blush but in a dewy way i use this everyday and love it i even bought another one for my niece . Would highly reccomend
