LIFESAVER
LIFESAVER - this changed the game for me when it comes to sickness remedies. I felt immediately better and could breathe again after doing this. The only downfall is you are only supposed to do it up to twice a day and I wanted to do it more. Great product and a ton of solution packets come with it!

Improved Neti Pot. Like this one better
This Neti Pot comes with a lid so you can mix your salt in the neti pot and shake it up. Gently. A lot more convenient and comfortable than past Neti Pots I've bought before. The comfort tip is nice too. Best thing ever with allergy season. If you've never tried a Neti Pot, you should. Works much better than nasal sprays alone.

Just what I needed!
I fussed so much over buying a new neti pot. I liked the one my daughter threw out so much, I wanted a replacement but couldn't find anything comparable. But this pot is lovely and so easy to use. The soft tip is comfortable and the process is fast and highly effective. Love the size. I began to breathe better after the first use and now with every subsequent application. So glad to return to this process. I've even been able to reduce my allergy treatment.

Weirdly effective
Very odd sensation cleaning one’s sinuses but very effective clearing nasal congestion.

Just what the doctor ordered
This Neti pot is so cute it reminds me of Aladdin’s lamp. It’s plastic, has no odor and the soft tip provides added comfort. It really helps to ease nasal congestion effectively and rehydrates nasal passages. It’s nothing fancy, doesn’t need to be plugged in, charged or need batteries. Easy to use and a breeze to clean. Just fill the vessel with distilled water add a saline packet and you’re set to go.

NOT A GREAT CHOICE
I had a white porcelain Neti Pot for years. It fell on the floor and broke so when I went to order a replacement I thought that getting this plastic one made sense since it couldn't be broken. I have used it now for enough time to see that it wasn't a great choice. There's no way, and I've tried everything I could think of, to keep the water from dripping out of the top when tilted. It quits leaking when the water level gets below the top but in the meantime I've leaked a lot of the distilled water out onto my face. The top does not screw down tight at all. There's a straight spot right on the front of the hole on top that the water pours out of when tipped. The lid doesn't screw on tight. It's really a pour design. If the straight part is meant to let air back in to displace the water going out it should have been on the back portion so that air could go in and water couldn't leak out. It seems so obvious. There's no way to keep the water from leaking out when I bend over to start the water flowing through my nose. I'm being gracious in giving this plastic Neti Pot 3 stars. It could work in a pinch and might be a good traveling pot but I do not recommend it for daily use. Water is going to leak out with use no matter what. I don't know if all of these pots are the same or if I may have gotten a deformed one but I'm just going back to the one that I know works. I just ordered another white porcelain pot. I ordered the same one I had used for years. The hole on top is towards the back of the top near the handle so that when tipped the water is held by the flat portion on the top and the water doesn't leak out onto my face.

It's a nicely designed product. Serves the purpose well. Highly priced item though.

This NetiPot works great and cleans easy. I like this plastic one better than the ceramic kind because I can see if the salt is dissolved or not. Sometimes the salt packets that come with this leave a funny smell/taste, but it's easy to find replacement salt at any health food store. I use it almost every day in the winter (it gets cooooold where I live; the furnace is nearly always running in our old house which makes it very dry) and more often when I feel a cold coming on. Bonus; (for a farm-girl like me) if you do a dusty job like sweeping the garage or a grain bin, you can use it right after to negate the gross stuffy feeling that would otherwise follow you around for days. Works like a charm. Watch your water temperature! Too cold or too hot burns like crazy. Also, be aware of your water quality...if you have any doubts go with store-bought, filtered or boiled (then cooled) water. All in all, this is a great alternative to cold medications and will stave off a stuffy, runny nose.

This is one amazing product. I have suffered with rhinitis for several years and have been using a steroid nasal spray on and off for 18 months. Stuck between a rock and a hard place, I found that if I didn't use the spray my nasal passages would just become congested, but prolonged use obliterated my sense of smell, made my nose bleed and, after a dose of antibiotics for a sinus infection, gave me oral thrush. Desperate for something that would relieve the congestion without the side effects of prolonged steroid medication, I decided to try the Neti Pot. Within a few days, I could breathe through my nose, my sense of smell returned, the nasal bleeding stopped and I didn't miss the burning bitter taste of steroids at the back of my throat. I used it once a day for about two weeks and now find that I can get away with using it every 2-3 days without any real return of symptoms. I was afraid I would not like the sensation of pouring fluid up my nose, and nervous about infection, but it is quite easy to use and not as bad as you imagine. I find half a sachet of saline per nostril is enough. it can be tricky at first trying to resist the urge to swallow when you feel water up your nose but it is not an unpleasant experience. It goes wrong occasionally: sometimes it trickles down the throat, and sometimes it runs down your face, but minor issues. If you swallow a bit, it's only salt water; it just disrupts the flow a bit! The biggest problem I have had is that I live in an extremely hard water area. Boiled tap water develops a particulate scum on it which I was not happy about putting up my nose. Sterile water or saline was going to be too expensive to use regularly, but I eventually found that supermarket brand value mineral water does the job - sterilised, of course, and at 17p for 2 litres lasts a few days and is cost effective. It takes a little bit of forward planning but I have a routine now. I know how much water I need, boil it for 4 mins in a pan, rinse the pot with the hot water, leave the rest to cool for 30 mins, dissolve the saline and do the nasal rinse, and finally rinse the pot with the remaining boiled water. Anyone fed up with endless steroid use would be well advised to give this a try. I cannot rate it highly enough.
