Works really well, great value, strengthen the network signals
I Live in a building That Has a Outdoor roof Antenna. I also have a indoor antenna, I purchased the switch to be able to switch between the two antennas. Once I installed the switch, to my amazement, my indoor antenna went from receiving 74 channels to receiving 115 channels. The roof antenna went from receiving forty channels to fifty-four channels. The railway is across the parking lot from the building I live in, before I installed the switch, the rail traffic would interfere with the antenna signal, that problem has gone away. A much stronger signal with the Steren Switch. '

Well-Made AB Switch - Works Great
Bought this to replace an old slider-type switch. The old switch had the two inputs on one side and the output for the TV on the other side. This switch has the inputs and output on the same side: nicer for my application. It is a much heavier switch, and the pushbuttons are solid. I disconnected the cable & antenna coax cables and attached them to the new C2G AB Switch, powered up the TV and all of the cable stations came in perfectly. I then selected the anntena input on the TV, pressed the B button on the C2G Switch and to my surprise all of the local stations came in crystal clear. In fact, two of the local channels that were previously pixelating and unstable with the OTA antenna signal were now solid and sharp. Not sure if the old switch was attenuating the signal or just didn't have the bandwidth for the all-digital signals. The new switch didn't show any of the old problems; and we're on the signal fringe for using an indoor antenna. The indoor antenna I'm using is a small Phillips HDTV Passive Antenna. I use it only when the cable is out or have a power loss during hurricane season (have a portable gasoline generator to handle the refrigerator, TV, and fans). Hopefully now I'll be able to check more than one source of weather info during storm season.

Works with Satellite Antennae
There are not many A/B switches advertised to work with Satellite coax antenna feeds. The description on this switch does indicate that it can work with satellites. I'm using it to easily switch between my motorhome roof mounted Dish Tailgater antenna, to another Tailgater antenna on the ground in cases where tree cover prevents a signal from reaching the roof mounted antenna at the campsite. The satellite receiver sends power to the antennae, so I'm always careful to unplug the receiver from the A/C plug first before I press the switch button, as I'm concerned with potential sparks damaging the antennae or the receiver itself. As far as the bandwidth, I have not not noticed any degradation in picture quality, even though the satellite signal operates at a higher frequency (higher than 1GHz) than the switch is rated. It works well for my application so far.

Good product, inexpensive way to have free local TV
I have Dish Network with only one box for two TV sets. The second TV has no box, and the Dish cable occupies the only antenna plug on the back of the TV that makes it unable to plug in a separate indoor HD antenna to capture local channels (By the way, even I have local channels through Dish, a separate HD flat antenna still provides more local channels, especially the local foreign languages channels. Further, the public HD local channels appear better when I use a separate HD antenna that I bought at a local store for $20 than when I use the Dish cable). I tried the TV splitters, type RCA that have one input and two outputs: Even the best one did not work. But this device that I bought on Amazon for $12 (Cables to Go 41015 High Isolation AB Switch) provides a perfect solution to have both plug in. It is easy to run an automatic channels search on each, and you will have either Dish channels or local channels through your separate HD antenna at your choice, just push a button. -- The reason that I take out one star: With this switcher, sometimes the Dish channel changes itself to the next channel while I am watching and nobody touches the remote control! But it rarely happens.

Excellent Coax Splitter
This splitter is easy to use and indicates which line is engaged. I did not notice any loss of signal strength and 4k tv and movies were clear and crisp! I am pleased with the splitters performance.

It is solidly made just like the advertisement says.
I have an over the air antenna in a window I can't get channel 2 on and one on the wall I can't get channel5 on, go figure. So I ordered this splitter because I was tired of unscrewing and screwing in cables all the time. Long story short the splitter works like a charm. I've only had it a few days but in that short time I can tell my reception has improved by at least 25%.

A BETTER CHOICE: DIAMOND ANTENNA MODEL CX210A We decided to ...
FUZZY RECEPTION & SIGNAL LOSS. Not suitable for HD TV. The A side of the A/B Switch for the TV Antenna to TV worked clearly. Although it may have caused a reduction in signal strength because connecting to NBC was erratic (the TV would go blank with a "weak signal" message). But what sent this switch to the trash bin was that the B side of the A/B switch for the VCR to TV was Fuzzy. We tried a couple of VCR tapes, including a Disney tape to confirm there was a problem with the B-switch. A BETTER CHOICE: DIAMOND ANTENNA MODEL CX210A We decided to replace TVC's A/B Switch with a heavy duty wideband Diamond Antenna Switch CX210A (www.diamondantenna.net, available by special order from www.lentinicomm.com). The specs include dB signal loss and isolation, so they appear to mean business. The cost was 4 times as much ($57 including expedited shipping). But we paid too much for our home entertainment center to settle for a fuzzy picture.
