How to Size a Walking Stick Sizing a walking stick is largely a matter of personal preference, but we do offer recommendations based on our 20 years' experience: 41" is primarily for children, 48" for adults up to 5'4"; 55" for adults between 5'4" and 5'11"; and 58" for adults taller than 5'11". The stick can also be sized down with a hand saw.

Great Stick
A beautiful and unique walking stick. Lightweight and functional. It features a very well designed ergonomic grip area that is curved in such a way as to provide a positive, varied and comfortable grip surface for any situation. Made of solid Ash and finished to perfection, it is as attractive as it is functional.I began using walking staff's instead of cane's because I found that I enjoyed better stability for my tired old arthritic legs. This one is perfect for all occasions and I have received many compliments on it's quality finish and style. If this is what you're looking for, you can buy it with confidence. It is a fine product at any price.

Really a 4 1/2 star product.
Very nicely made and attractive. Seems very sturdy. Purchased as a Christmas present for my wife who loves it so far. Took off 1/2 star because the handle part isn't round but flattened out. Probably fits smaller hands better that way but the full round shape would be more comfortable and easier to grasp for those with large hands like me. All in all I'm pleased with the purchase.

I walk and hike daily and the Twisted Ash Hitchhiker is dynamic. Very comfortable and light to use. I am very pleased with my decision to purchase and use this "walking stick". I have used these for 8yrs
This staff/walking stick, is very durable and comfortable for daily use. Well made with a nice finish. I feel this is also a great self defense tool if one is inclined to train.
