If you read the instructions perfectly it is a breeze to program. It is way more durable than my prior pad that was a different brand.

great xtra gate opener
great second gate opener the only downside is it takes a special battery its easy to program.

operational, but not durable
it's plastic. it breaks. It's a pain to program into the panel and i've had 2 of 3 go out within 2 years. USAutomatics is a middle of the line product in the middle tier of gate openers. over 5 years, I've replaced 3 keypads, a solar control board, and 2 batteries (big batteries, not remote batteries). That being said, it's a fair product and works with my system. don't expect any aura to start showing up and fixing everything else though :)
