We have the Shark fan in our house to compare this with and although there Shark has portability this is so much better in functions and features. It is better looking and takes up less room as the footprint is a little smaller. Having an App to control the fan also is a great addition option. The full up, down, left, and right motion is a game changer and makes this fully live up to the term Air Circulator. It might not be the cheapest option but this is worth the money if you have the budget for it. The fan offered 10 speed modes and a Turbo option for that additional increase over the 10 base modes. By far the best mode is Auto because it also has its own thermostat and will increase in speed as it gets hotter. speeds 1-4 are practically silent and still offer great circulation in an average room

Really cool fan if you want a really cool room! It’s quiet, it can be controlled via app or assistant and because it’s head pivots, it is great at distributing airflow around the room! Very nice bit of kit!

Perfect fan. Very heavy sturdy base, adjustable all directions oscillation. Noise level during the night is acceptable up to speed 4, after that a bit noisy. Few modes and scenarios on the dedicated app makes my life much easier. Turbo mode is really powerful. A remote control and the holder included but in real life it’s easier to use the app or like I do - Siri or Alexa voice control.

The Dreo Pedestal Fan looks futuristic, and I really like the design. It stands at about waist height, which works, though I wish it were a little taller, (I have high ceilings in my apartment). It comes with a remote, voice control, and an app, which offers the most control overall. I barely use the remote — the app and voice control are more convenient. On Turbo mode, it claims to push air up to 100 feet. Personally, I’m sat about 2 metres away, and while the breeze is refreshing, I wouldn’t call it as powerful as I'd like. On very hot days, it gives a more gentle airflow unless you’re pretty close to it. It oscillates up and down in a great way, covering a big area. That said, this is true of most fans — they circulate air well, but they don't cool like an air conditioner. The best way to use it is with open windows, to help push hot air out and freshen up the room. On lower settings, it’s extremely quiet — I had to check it was still running a few times on level 1. Turbo gets louder, as expected, but it’s not unbearable. It feel sturdy, so shouldn't be any worries there. Sleek, smart, and great for gentle cooling. But if you're trying to survive a heatwave? You’ll want air con.

Best purchase I have ever made for the hot weather. Honestly the way it cools the room is amazing because he has such a powerful fan system it’s unreal. Quiet and the fact I can turn it on with Alexa and off. Perfect but when you increase the fan speed it will be a little noisy.

I was disappointed by this fan, especially for the price. I looked up all of the technical specs and compared them against the meaco 1056 which I already have. Allegedly, this pushes way more air. I thought, great, I’ll have another awesome fan plus with an app to control it with. Well, having put them both side by side, it does not, in fact, push more air. Not to say that it was useless, but for the price and the alleged specs, it over promised and under delivered. The meaco was way more powerful. In photos, the fan looks really snazzy. In real life, to me, it just looked quite cheap. I very much got knock off dyson vibes. I returned it and bought the newer meaco sefte pedestal fan instead, and you should do the same.

10/10 fan. Brilliant for circulating air, the app is an excellent feature for switching on and off and changing the fan speed. It is quiet, you can set a timer up, it comes with a remote but you can fully operate from your phone. It’s easy to set up, on the heavier side with the stand but you want it to be sturdy. We have recommended this fan to friends who have since purchased multiple items. It’s great for cooling a room before the night and circulating air with different flows. Highly recommend - well worth the price!

I bought this fan after my son destroyed my dreo tower fan he deliberately turned on and jammed a pencil in breaking the tiny blades. he's 4 yrs old by the way. The tower fan was great but not child proof. So bought this pedestal fan that cost 3x as much. Is it worth it? I would have to see when summer comes around and how it compliments my AC. It has a nice steady stream of air no feathering like a traditional fan the dual blade design is cool I've never seen anything like it. But they don't real explain how it works. It could be a gimmic. It is really quite. The fan motor and blades are quiet but I could hear the motors used for oscillating. It almost sounds like I can faintly hear a dump truck operating very far away. I can only hear this in a very quiet room. It didn't bother me but it did have me looking out the window just out curiosity. There's two motors that make the head move up down left right so if you keep it horizontal you probably won't really hear it. A normal fan uses a loud ac motor and a knob that takes advantage of the spinning motor shift and gears so take that inconsideration. The fan won't tip over because it has a heavy base. The fan connects to wifi and can be controlled by your phone. You can set up this fan to work with your AC to achieve desired temp. It will sense the temp of the room and will oscillate vertically and horizontally at varying speeds if it's hot it will blow harder if it's cool not so hard. It keeps your ac from working to hard saving on power. The fan runs on 24 volt dc current which cost nothing so you can technically run the fan on batteries or solar power if you have the right adapters. I bought the fan because it's feature rich and space saving I'm sure the fans below this one work just as fine I forgot one thing the controls for the fan are low like you have to bend down or get on a knee, but they provide a remote with battery or you can control with phone. Update. Fan works well with ac and I like the natural setting that simulates sudden burst of a breeze good for when you're by yourself relaxing and you focus the fan on yourself. Because a constant breeze can make you feel cold sometimes. 🥶

So we had a Dyson. Gold, Nickel, white plastic. Did nothing really well. We needed a fan that’s quiet enough to run unnoticed while watching movies, yet circulate air without forcing it on our faces like it was some kind of punishment. In comes the DREO. Did they hire an Apple product designer for this product? To say it’s silent, doesn’t do it justice. You cannot hear it at all from one feet on speeds 1-4. Yet you can feel the breeze. Couple of directional motors- horizontal and vertical - are silent too. Like a mysterious hand is moving this thing perfectly in 3 dimensions. Looks as classy as a yesteryear’s actress. Has a presence without the footprint. Can really push out air if that is your thing, on Turbo mode. Comes with an elegant remote. And best of all it comes with an exceptional App! Does it cook dinner? Nope. Short of that it meets all expectations and blows it away. Buy this fan if you want a statement piece in your living room that also delivers. It’s not just a fan, it’s something beyond. Clever, classy and wow.

QUIET! MODERN STYLE. ATTRACTIVE. EXPENSIVE! At low speeds, this fan is virtually silent. We forget it is on! It looks modern and attractive in our family room. It moves the air around in a pleasant not windy manner and this helps to keep our family room cooler because we do not have any forced air conditioning into the room. Very impressed by this fan! Yes it is relatively expansive but it is worth the higher cost to us. At higher speeds using the vertical and horizontal oscillating features there is one issue: it blows the dust off of our decoration items hanging from the ceiling! :) This handily beats all other fans we have owned: old box fans, desk top fans, floor standing fans. Highly recommended if you value high quality products which cost more than low quality products. As some say “you get what you pay for”.
