These things have been a lifesaver. I am a self-taught sewer who learned from my grandmother and cut my teeth as a costumer in low budget theatre. Of course I used the little lines on the machine, but these have been a big help. The magnet is super strong. I have to really work to get it off the machine or move it, so I'm not concerned about sliding. They are also nice and thick, so I don't have to worry about my fabric accidently sliding over it and ruining my stitching. It works very well, and I recommend it to anyone trying to learn the basics or just have a little help. It's a great tool.

Works as described but I thought it would be made out of a higher grade of plastic.

Not used for sewing, but for my laser engraver to hold items in place and allow for fast positioning to engrave multiple instances of items. The magnets are STRONG, they stay put without any movement. This 3 pack is perfect for project alignments.

These colorful guides work very well in helping a Quilter or seamstress achieve that much desired quarter inch seam. It conveniently attaches to the metal plate on your machine and stays tight. Has a great magnet and holds sure. An added bonus, the colors. As a Quilters, I love color, and these bring a brightness to my sewing space. I would highly recommend this product.

These magnetic seam guides definitely have strong magnets - you can barely move them. While this is good for sewing once you get them into place, it’s a pain to place them accurately. They were too high for me to put them very close to my presser/walking foot on my Janome 6700 machine as they interfered with the AcuFeed foot. They should work fine if you’re sewing a wider seam.

This item worked great! I needed it to help keep hems straight when sewing and it did a great job staying in place and allowing me to sew a straight line. The magnets are strong so it stays in place where you put it.
