This is a great gun, but there are some things you should know.
This gun is very high quality for a low price. The furniture is mock wood but real metal. This gun shoots fast and hard. I've only had two problems with this gun:1. Be careful with the charging handle. As satisfying as it is to pull it back 20 times a minute, it is connected to a relatively thin piece of metal (that's how I broke mine, don't do that).2. The magazine. Now Hear me out, the magazine is not defective. If you fire on full-auto, sometimes the spring pushing up the BBs doesn't catch-up so for a second or two you will be firing nothing. Just keep firing and the BBs with feed through again.I am not trashing this gun at all, I think it is an amazing gun, there are just somethings you should understand about this gun so you don't think it's broken. If you have any other problems, such as firing or bad jams, take it up with the company and they will help you.The gun comes with:.1 battery (the type is listed in the gun's description).1 battery charger.1 (base on the 30 round magazine) airsoft Thompson box magazine. The gun itself (obviously).1 naming rod.1 olive drab sling (it's a pretty good sling)

Worth the Money
Several years ago I saw this gun in our local retail store (Meijers) for $199 and thought that it was rather high in price. After finding it on Amazon for under $120 I decided to go ahead and buy it. When I got the gun I noticed that one of the fins on the rear site was broken. Looks like it was a die- cast metal. The rest of the gun parts appeared to be fine and the box was not damaged. So I am not sure how the fin got broke. After charging the battery, my son and I went outside to try out our new guns. I was amazed out how well the gun shot. It was fast and pretty accurate at the normal range that I was used to shooting my CO2 pistol. I could feel the BB's hit me through a heavy canvas winter coat. Later, we tried shooting our guns on a warmer day that had almost no wind to find out our maximum range. I quickly discovered that the .20 gram BB's did not work so well at longer ranges. I tested using .25 gram BB's and noticed a lot of improvement in accuracy. I also noticed that I did not like having any hop-up (or the BAPs turned off). The hop-up did increase the range but reduced the accuracy. In the end, this gun has a max range of 200 feet and is pretty accurate at 150 feet. I upgraded to a 9.6 volt 1600mAh NiMH battery and noticed that full auto speed increased from 10 to around 15 BB's per second. This gun can eat BB's in a hurry! No worries though. The metal gearbox/trigger system is really responsive and shooting bursts in full auto is smooth and easy. You can switch to single shot mode to concern ammo if necessary. Overall, I am really pleased with the performance of this gun and am ready to lay down the law on the playing field this season :)

Love this gun
Love this gun, mine didn’t come with an instruction manual so I had to learn by myself about this gun but let me share a few tips.1) the very back of the gun is where the battery is held. Whatever you do then don’t try to loosen the top screw. It won’t go anywhere and you will just end up stripping it. The bottom screw is where you open the battery holder up anyways.2) once you get it off then you realize there is no place for the battery because of this huge grey foam thing that is on the top part of the compartment. To take out the foam I used a simple wood screw and screwed it into the foam slightly and then pulled on it pulling out the foam with it.3) make sure to read the instructing on the battery, it says to not charge the battery for over 5hours and that’s with an empty charge so off the bat I just charged it for three hours and it worked fine4) the magazine for the gun doesn’t even go in at first lol I had to force it in and out a few times before it slid in well but I’m fine with this because it makes it have a right fit.5) also with the mag then I didn’t know how it worked so I was just loading it with a quick loader when all I had to do was open the tap at the top and pour the bbs in then you have to spin the thing at the bottom to cycle the bbs for shooting.6) I use .25gram bbs and they work well7) I adjusted the hop up to its lowest setting which makes it accurate up to maybe 75feet without a strong wind8) there is no way to mount any kind of sight on this gun but the ironsight is very accurate so I don’t mind.Seems like a solid gunSome reviews said there is no gun grease in the gun initially so you need to buy some and put it in yourself which shouldn’t be too hard I think but I still have to find where to put it hahaI hope this helped you guys

fool me once - fool me twice
This is absolute garbage. Bought the first one for the main gift for a child for this Christmas. It fired 2 or 3 times then quit. No way to fix it. The battery was fine and fully charged (it worked on other guns!!). The electric mechanism just quits - and it quits right away. We returned it for an exchange (identical item). The second one had the same problem. It fired for about 5 minutes this time before quitting. DO NOT BUY! BEWARE!!!Will be returning for a refund to my Amazon account, and will buy something else. Thanks for ruining Christmas Palco! No-one should be buying anything from Palco...we have had nothing but trouble with every single item we've purchased from that "company" (sarcastic emphasis on the quotes).

Stop firing after 200 rounds (replacement died after 40 shots)
The gun appears to be really high quality. My son almost passed out when he opened it at Christmas. Fired great for about 200 rounds and then just stopped. Full battery, fuse is not blown, and gun is clean. Flat out just stopped. My son is really disappointed (he is been holding it like a dead animal died in his arms). Sending back for a replacement because we love this gun so much we would give it another try.UPDATE:Got a replacement and it died after 40 shots or so. Please stay away from this gun! My boy's heart is broken.
