BabyDan Guard Me Easy Fit Extension Kit, Will Extend Guard Me Safety Baby Stair Gate by up to 24cm / 9inches

Bought to keep the dog from launching himself at visitors coming in/out the house by securing him in the back dining area. He's only a small dog but has a loud bark that scares people ;-) This is fairly easy to use but we had to get help from a carpenter friend to fit it nice and flush against a skirting board so there wasn't a gap at the bottom. You won't need to worry about that if it's kids you are keeping behind this thing, but small dogs could get under otherwise.

We were very happy with our BabyDan Guard Me stair gates at the top and bottom of our stairs so bought a third one with the extension kit to go under the stairs. It fits great and makes life so much easier.

This works fine, good quality product. My only comment is that the box does NOT come with the plastic key needed to add this to an existing baby gate. Thankfully I still had the plastic key from the time that I bought the original gate. For the price, BabyDan could really provide the plastic key with the extender.

So expensive for an added attachment but needed it so had to buy, could have bought a baby gate for this amount though!! Great idea for existing gate though, so good idea!

We have awkward stairs at the bottom and have really struggled to find a stair gate. Bought this gate along with the extension and it’s perfect. Able to install at an angle, looks tidy out and when it’s folded away against the wall, easy to use and my 5 year old is able to use it without help.

Great product andd much better than a regular gate. Sturdy takes up less room amd easy to fit.

しっかりと扉を閉じれるし、使わないときには邪魔にならないので満足しています。 階段の上で使っていますが、二階にいるときに子どもが勝手に降りていけないようになり、安心感があります。斜めでも設置できて、よかったです。

Das Produkt macht einen stabilen Eindruck, ist gut verpackt und der verwendete Kunststoff ist auch ansehnlich. Auspacken, loselegen... Naja , zuerst mal die Anleitung lesen... Okay, Sicherheitshinweise in gefühlten 100 Sprachen, darunter auch Deutsch. Also wo sind die Anleitungen zum Zusammenbau... Upps 200 Bilder, welche alle möglichen Varianten des Zusammenbaus zeigen, jedoch das Anbringen der Erweiterungen (Extra erhältlich) leider nicht wirklich beschreiben. Okay, dann learning by doing... Okay, die kleinen Teile , kann man einschieben und dann wird die Türe breiter... Sch....e , die gehören hier nicht rein..okay, wie entferne ich diese wieder... (Da gibt es ein kleines Plastikteil,welches zur Höhenmontage unter den Verschlussmechanismus passt und auf dessen Rückseite ist ein Stiftähnliches Teil, mit dem man das Teil "entrasten" kann.. oder mit einem Schraubendreher (Vorsichtig).. Dann die Erweiterung dran schieben (Nut & Federprinzip) und rasten. Dann das Endtteil der gegenüberliegenden Seite (Scharnierseite) einfügen, die Schlossschraubenähnlichen Teile einfügen und locker verschrauben. Dann die passende Befestigungsvariante zwischen Tür ,etc wählen, Akkuschrauber nehmen, Höhe einmessen,mit Wasserwaage die Senkrechte wie waagrechte kontrollieren, anschrauben und fertig. Türchen schliessen und " die Hunde bleiben vor dem Briefträger" stehen, da die Türe massiv genug für drei mittelgrosse Hunde ist. Die Öffnungsfunktion ist etwas hakelig, aber bei etwas Übung top. Klares Fazit ,Top Türe zu angenehmen Preis. Achso , unbedingt das Produktvideo (auf der Verpackung = QR Code) anschauen .

Ho acquistato il cancelletto e queste estensioni sono veramente comode: il cancello si mantiene comunque leggero, di facile montatura (libretti istruzioni inclusi) e manutenzione. Super consigliate anche le estensioni!

The gate is just what I was Looking for to keep a puppy away from a set of stairs but easy for us to get around when we needed to to go upstairs. Various ways to install the gate inside mount, outside mount, or one side of each. The gate appears to be well made as well as the 9 inch extension. How ever the beautifully printed on glossy paper booklet is a horror to follow. It makes a simple installation appear to be extremely complicated. Easier if you watch the installation video on the Baby Dan website. Customers have been complaining about this as far back as the 2015 (the point at which I stopped reading) reviews. Baby Dan should start reading the reviews.
