Balance 1 Weighted Slim & Exercise Hoop 3 lb (Dia.40 inch) Large, 8-Segmented

I was nervous to buy but mine stays together just fine. I use it once a night for 20 minutes (tho I forget a lot) in front of the TV. At first it made my abs hurt a lot and I had trouble getting used to it (neighbors downstairs must hate me for all my weighted hula hoop was banging on the floor) but now I can go the full 20 minutes. It doesn't feel like a big workout, but it elevates my breathing and I'm feeling the results for sure! It's an easy way to augment my workout routine and I highly recommend it.

I love this Hula Hoop! It was worth the money. To the one that said it was a piece of junk because it keeps falling apart.... If you make sure you hear each segment of the hula hoop snap together, it will not fall apart. The first time I tried it, it fell apart because I had not snapped it together properly. Listen for the click each time and each piece will be tightly held together. It's NOT a piece of junk! I purchased a total of 20 hoops for the women in our Exercise Class and several co-workers. They all love it...even the ones struggling to learn.

I have fun with the hoop and it's definitely enough to help me work out a little bit. I read somewhere that hula hooping burns on average like 7 calories per minute, so if you do it during the commercials for a whole 30 minute show you'll probably burn like 120-150 calories, depending. The weight is enough to make you feel it, but doesn't keep it going by itself or anything like that, so you still have to put some effort into it.

This is a great way to ease yourself back into exercise. It weighs three pounds so you work your core, and best of all it doesn't have those painful bumps on the inside of the hoop! I bought a different hoop that weighed less. I liked it but it had these painful lumps on the inside of the hoop for no reason I could figure out. I wish I had found this one first.

.It gives you a good workout. Took a while to get it to stay up but after picking it up off the ground numerous times, I have learned to keep it up. The hoop has padding all around making it softer on you Make sure you hear the click when putting hoop together and it will stay together. And as others have mentioned in their reviews it does bruise you a bit but after a while that is no problem. I can already see a difference in my waistline and core area, so it is doing as expected.

Updated- my fiancée was finally able to get it together, but it took awhile. It shouldn’t take two people multiple tries and having to man handle the thing, but I gave it two more stars since its at least together now and workingCant even get the junk to assemble. Weve tried EVERY SINGLE possible combination with the peices and NONE even fit properly! It’s wobbly and flew apart the moment my fiancée even gave it ONE small, not even fast twirl. Really disappointed, cant afford to mail it back, and out a hulu hoop now.

I love this hula hoop! I ama Pilates instructor and am always looking for ways to complement my Pilates routine. Pilates focuses on the core and this hoop not only reinforces that but adds some legs (squat as you do it), arms (lift!) and cardio. I found the hula hoop went together easily and once the pieces are snapped into place, do not come apart while hooping. The soft padding makes it a little more comfortable than a plain plastic hoop. I ordered the green, 40” 3lb version as I wanted more of a challenge. After a few tries to find the right rhythm I’m able to get a good supplemental workout in before starting my busy day.

I can't even believe this is sold on the market. The pieces don't fit together. Those that do, fall out. Those that don't, won't even go in. After you smash them in and jerry rig it, the whole thing is wobbly. Then when you try to hula hoop, the whole thing falls apart. What a joke!!! I would never buy this product, or anything from this company ever again.

the parts do not fit together! comes with no instructions either- i dont know if specific pieces are supposed to go together

Works good. It is extremely difficult to use which is kind of the point. Cont go too heavy.
