A near-perfect tool for seamless storytelling on the move!
This ultra-compact stabilizer is a must-have for mobile creators! The DJI RS 4 Mini delivers silky-smooth, cinematic stabilization for phone footage, whether you’re walking, panning, or tracking subjects. Its magnetic clamp and auto-balancing tech make setup effortless, while the lightweight, foldable design slips easily into a pocket. The DJI Mimo app unlocks smart features like ActiveTrack 5.0 and creative modes, and the 10-hour battery lasts all day. Though larger phones might feel snug, and beginners need a minute to master advanced settings, it’s a near-perfect blend of portability and pro performance. Ideal for vloggers, travelers, or anyone craving studio-quality motion without the bulk!

Overall its a great gumball, however I decided to swap for RS 4, cos I wasn't satisfied with the battery life. Build quality is great. Not too heavy.

Great product. No regrets.
Superb product. Upgraded from the RS3. The easiest gamble to setup and balance so far. Handles my prime lenses easily. The auto tracking is fun. Not used the tracking in a professional situation yet. Overall very pleased.

some improvements one critical drawback
Pros: - smaller & lighter than rs4 - addition of new tracking unit cons: - no removable battery! - handle can only be attached on one side - much more difficult to balance than RS4 (with fx3 + 24-70mm + VND filter) - grey colour stands out against most camera colours (presumably to match the drone colour way) - no travel case Conclusion: Worthwhile upgrade if you're looking to get the latest gimbal for a lighter mirrorless set up but the lack of replaceable battery is criminal considering price.

Good Value for the money
Having read the reviews and decided to purchase the DJI 3 mini pro gimbal I have to date only set it up and used it on a trial basis what I found that there are many videos on You Tube for both set up and operation of the gimbal which proved to be very useful and made the set up very straight forward. When comparing the balancing to a friend’s cheaper gimbal the set up was a lot easier and once set up as long as each axis is securely locked off the gimbal remains balanced when removing the balance camera from the gimbal and then at a later stage replacing back onto the gimbal. I purchased the Combo version of the gimbal which includes the person tracker and the auxiliary handle, until now both have only been used in a trial basis but the tracking appears to work well with the hand gesture operating the on and off feature very well. The auxiliary handle in addition to assisting in the operation can be set so it makes the natural balance of the gimbal easy to carry when not in use. The set up of the features including the customisation of the gimbal axis speeds is straight forward and after a small amount of trial and error can be set to the users’ needs these are in addition to the preset speeds included in the gimbal software. Another positive feature is the closing and locking of the gimbal axis when turning the gimbal off all axis are aligned into one and even with the camera still attached make the gimbal easy to carry when not in use My initial reaction is very positive and I am looking forward to using it in me video work in the very near future

The features of this gimbal are incredible. Everything has been well-thought-out. It's a perfect lightweight setup for the RX100VII. With the Sony Multi cable I can control the camera's zoom directly from the RS3's front dial. The game changer for me is Track Mode. The Ronin app Track Mode (motion control) allows me to mount on a tripod and get repeatable smooth pan/tilt shots at any speed (no need to spend money on an expensive pan/tilt system). Balancing your camera on the gimbal is very easy - the screen even shows data for each of the 4 axes and how balanced they are. The touchscreen is bright and easy to use. There are so many customization settings you can choose in the menus. The battery seems like it lasts over 12 hours. The auto-lock is genius (I will never buy another gimbal without this feature). I have zero complaints.
