As at the date of this review (March 2015) this pack is bang up to date.The pack is well presented, informative and easy to follow. If you take things slowly step by step, then you could save yourself a small fortune.Our solicitor quoted £650 for a Lasting Power of Attorney. By doing it myself, I saved all but £110 which is the unavoidable registration fee.My one slight gripe is that not all the forms referred to in the pack are included and you are guided to a coded web site. Needless to say, the form I required wasn't already pre-printed...but this is only a minor point and shouldn't detract you from buying this.4.5/5

This is a great pack if you only need a GPOA. Basic POA Forms one for Scotland (2 sheets A4) and one for England & Wales (1 sheet A4)Best thing was it isnt complicated all it needs is the donor name address the person(s) who will be the POA and a witness name address occupation and signature. I was worried about filling it out but if I can do it anyone can. So for my use 5/5 but I would have been upset if I had needed a lasting POA as it needs to be registered with the office of public guardian current fee 82 this is per person/donor. You can download the forms and guidance notes from the government website. If its someone elderly the above fee May be exempt if on low income or certain benefits.You dont need a solicitor for either of the above unless you do need specific legal counsel regarding aspects of POA.The pack does have some good information on lasting power of attorneys but tbh you can get that off the internet.Conclusion great for GPOA not to be used for LPOAs

Bought on behalf of someone (easy to use Amazon rather than pack/post myself). Had to wait for it to come back into stock, but I was notified when it came back into stock, it was ordered and shipped immediately, with quick delivery. Recipient is pleased with the purchase. Comprehensive and does exactly what it suggests. Recommended for those that need such a document for Power of Attorney.

I purchased this for the use of setting up a Continuing and Welfare Power of Attorney in Scotland for both myself and my Partner. I had to download the Schedule 1 Certificate from the LawPack website, but this was very easy as the instructions were on the back of the guidance manual along with a code required to access the relevant forms.after getting everything signed, i am just in the process of sending it all off to the Public Guardian Offices, so hopefully it will be acceptable...I have just one gripe!In the Guidance Manual, all is well up to page 8, then on the next page, the manual reverts back to page 7 with a completely different manual inserted about Tenancy Law. A whole 15 or so pages in the centre of the guidance has been added all about Residential Letting right up to page 22, then, the next page goes to page 25 and is back to the Powers of Attorney. A complete mess of a manual. I don't even know if I have missed out on any important guidance for the Power of Attorney that i purchased???? Luckily I was able to go to the Public Guardian of Scotland Website and work my way through their instructions instead..A bad case of quality control here!.......

Just what I wanted helpful information and pack

This product led me to believe it contained lasting power of attorney forms but it only contained general power of attorney. I don't think it was worth the money.
