I am on a full strict elemental diet. I was using another elemental powder, but when I ordered more it was going to be delivered after I need it so I got this to fill in that gap. The taste is not really that great. It’s a light flavored vanilla that is super chalky and gritty tasting. It doesn’t really have a smell either. I am sort of stuck using it as o don’t want to break off my elemental diet, so I’ll make it work, but there are a lot of other elemental drink mixes that taste so much h better. I guess as long as the benefit is there I can’t complain. Also, I’m pretty sure that there is only enough powder for 2-3 days when used as a full replacement for food. When you use a blender to mix it, it will whip it up. As it settles it turns into a liquid. You might have to try just a shaker bottle if you don’t like the whipped version

I started making shakes with this powder when I had SIBO. Without a banana, it does taste like vanilla cardboard. Now that SIBO has passed I'm still including these as part of my nutrition. I love the fact it's predigested so my gut can get a rest. I typically add the 4 scoops, 1 cup water, 1 yellowy green banana, 1 tbsp of flaxseed oil, some matcha powder, and blue spirulina powder.

Had a bad case of SIBO. I went on this vegan shake as a liquid diet for 3 days and I was so much better. The SIBO did not go away entirely but it was enough for me to heal. The only problem, it is very expensive. I could not afford to use this product for the recommended 3 weeks.

I ordered this because my doctor recommended an elemental diet while we waited for my gut/stool results. I like that it’s not sweetened, and that it doesn’t contain any dairy. It doesn’t taste good and it doesn’t taste bad. I do not like that you cannot return the item very easily. You can only return it if it’s unopened, and within thirty days of purchase. I ended up needing to return this bc it didn’t work for me. And I would rather find something that tastes better. But since I had opened it and tried it, I’m now stuck with a $80 practically full bottle of product, in my kitchen. I took a star off bc of the return policy and customer service. It might work for others, if you’re looking for a product that’s elemental.

I do not have an intestinal problem, but this is great to use instead of a fasting day. Combine a sugar and no sugar measure to keep it from being too sweet.

But it tastes good and can be quite useful for other people who are looking to add nutrition to their daily food intake. I liked the powder but think it’s way to expensive and I haven’t been able to do it consistently because I try to buy another one and it never arrives when it says it will. So if you’re going to actually try this diet, be ready to spend a lot of money and buy multiple because it truly is so hard and I haven’t seen it work yet. They need to fix the shipping issue.
