Good quality
Good quality hardware, nicely made. I hooked it up though the negative terminal as a battery disconnect on my 911

Good value
Bought this for my rv. I had no problem flush mounting this switch to a wall. Seems solid enough for what I expect it to do.

Compact battery cutoff switch
I bought this switch to mount under the hood of my truck to act as a master cutoff switch to kill the power for the 12 volt power I ran to the back bumper for a boat trailer powerwinch. I ran a heavy wire off the battery to this switch which I mounted on a bracket I fabricated under my hood near the battery to plug in my winch. I seldom need it so rather then worry about a hot outlet at the rear exposed to rain and snow I can interrupt the power and I only need to open the hood and turn it on whenever I need it. The switch seems solid and I liked the fact it seemed rugged but was compact. I've tested it and it functions fine so hopefully it'll do the trick.

Nowhere like the real thing
I ordered these to replace the original BEP battery switch that came with the boat ( Chaparral ). They looked very similar in the photos posted online at Amazon, but were about half price ( $12 compared to $25 for the BEP ).On inspecting them upon arrival, I could immediately see that these were nowhere close to the quality of the original ones. For starters, the knobs all sat crooked leaning to one side. The backing plates needed trimming before being able to fit them. When I turned the knobs, I could hear a clear scratching sound. Overall, the fit and finish was very poor and they looked wobbly and flimsy. But then again, what did I expect for half the price. You get what you pay for. Next time I will definitely stick with the original BEP switches.

Power on, power off
Used this as a battery shut off on a camper. Works great, keeps my battery from going dead and having to hear that CO2 alarm beeping. Great investment.

Two position switch for high voltage/current switching.
I got this as a kill switch for a 48v golf cart, wired in between the end battery and the solenoid. When off it prevents any battery drain (and charging, FYI). It's a beefy switch, with large lugs on the interior, that fit perfectly with the 4 gauge wiring for the system. The body panels are easy to cut (exacto blade works well), and can be sealed up rather easily. The switch itself has only two positions, and is not contentiously cycling. The off position is at one spot, and the on position is at 90° from that. Off is always counter clockwise, on is clockwise. If you press the switch head down and rotate another 90° past the on position (clockwise) the switch remains on and the head (knob) can be removed. This is handy for cleaning and initial placement. The switch head can not be removed with the switch is in the off position.

Exactly what I needed!
I needed to power off my lead that I have in the front and back of my truck for a hitch mounted winch and this is the right part for the job. Easy to mount inside the side wall of the engine compartment and tie into two power leads that supply juice to the front and back. It doesn't matter which wire you attach to which post as long as you attach one wire from the battery to one post and one/two wires going to where ever you want power to another post. Seriously simple.
