This is perfect! It has plenty of space for other things ...
I own several Baggallinis and wanted a lightweight computer bag to carry to work. This is perfect! It has plenty of space for other things & lots of useful pockets. I especially like the long deep pockets on the front of the Avenue tote. My coffee thermos fits perfectly in one of these pickets & my sunglasses in the other. I put my office badge which I need to get into the building in the shallow center pocket and my cellphone fits fine in the shallow zippered pocket behind it. I use the zippered pocket in the back (which can be used to fit over the handle off my wheeled suitcase when I travel) to carry papers, my e-reader, letters to mail or other such things. The zippered interior of the tote accommodates my laptop computer in the padded pocket and I can use the unpadded portion to carry papers, books or even my lunch to work.I love how lightweight the tote is when empty and that, like all Baggallinis, I can hand wash it to keep it looking new.UPDATE AFTER USING FOR ONE YEAR:I'm still rocking the Baggallini Avenue Tote and decided to share more info about how I use it. I work from home half the time and commute to work the other part of the time. My office recently implemented a "hoteling" office space arrangement, so I don't have a permanent desk or office where I can stash things. Hoteled work spaces are equipped with docking stations, keyboards, mice and computer screens, so all I need to do to work is put my laptop in a docking station and I'm ready to go. But since I don't have a permanent place to stash some things, I've started carrying some office supplies in my bag. Here's a list of the stuff I carry in my Baggallini Avenue Tote on the days I work in the office see pictures):1) A thermos of coffee2) A light cardigan3) My laptop computer, which measures 13" across4) A few work-related folders5) A small mesh zippered bag that contains pens, pencils, markers and a few triple A batteries6) An eyeglass holder that holds my computer reading glasses7) A small zippered organizer that holds post it notes, a notepad and some paper clips8) A small portfolio that holds a pen & a 6-1/2" x 9-1/2" wirebound notebook9) An umbrellaAfter I've put all these things in my tote, you can see that it stands upright on it's own. As I start removing things from it, it will droop and fall over. When empty, it has very little support and generally falls over. You can see my tote after I've packed it with all my stuff and I'm ready to go to work. When I'm in the office, I often attend meetings and so I've started securing the contents of my Baggallini with a lock. The lock won't really prevent theft, but it does discourage someone from casually going through my bag when I'm not looking.

Great, organized tote with a few shortcomings
I’m a big fan of Baggalini bags. I have several smaller purses that I use for travel. The quality and lifespan of those under heavy use have all been awesome. When I was in need of a tote, plus a new laptop bag, I was thrilled to find this one that could fulfill both purposes. The cost was more than I wanted to spend, but I figured it was worth it, knowing I could trust the quality of this brand. The good: the pockets! Love all the pockets! So many ways to organize and stow my stuff, plus multiple options on the front for my cell phone, my chapstick, and my water bottle. I love the blue color I chose, as its easy to keep clean, and is a great color to blend with many outfits. The not-so-good: I wish this bag had a little more stiffness to it. It’s much floppier than my other Baggalini purses. By the time I’ve loaded a few heavy items, the bag becomes quite droopy. The zippers on the back that allow me to strap the bag over the handle of a rolling suitcase are great, except that when I do so, the bag droops forward leaving a gaping pouch at the suitcase handle. Either smaller zippers or a stiffer construction would prevent this.It also needs a pad on the shoulder strap to make heavier loads more comfortable. The bad: On the front of the bag is a v-shaped pocket in between the two water bottle pockets. On my bag, the base of this pocket is open about 2 inches into the compartment next to it. I noticed it right away and thought it was just a poor design that I would learn to live with. After losing something in this abyss this morning, I pulled out my flashlight and discovered it is actually that my bag is not sewn correctly. The hole I thought was poor design is actually a defect in construction that lets items fall into the lining of the bag. Naturally, it’s now 3 days after my Amazon return window. For a $90 bag, I would expect much better quality control. I’m disappointed, to say the least.

Terrific Travel Tote!
I was skeptical about this tote when I first received it because I was afraid it would be too small. I however, was wrong. I was surprised by the amount of necessities I could fit in it. The sleeve will hold a 15” computer and a tablet. I was also able to pack a pair of running shoes, a DSLR camera wits a lense and sweatshirt. I love the exterior cell phone zipper pocket and the open pocket on the front was perfect for all my various chargers. My only complaints are that the shoulder strap does dig into the shoulder after a long period of time since there is no reinforced padding and the bag will not stand up on its own without contents inside. Overall, Very happy with this purchase and can’t wait to use for future travels!

Dimensions are not as listed
The dimensions are not what is listed on the description. I bought the Med Avenue tote first and then bought this one because it says it is a little bigger all around. It is exactly the same size as the med tote that is $10 less. The bag is nice, just not sized as described.

great travel bag, problem with pockets
love the travel bag. it works well. i particularly wanted the multiple pockets. the inside worked well with the ipad/laptop pocket that i used for books and stuff. The only problem i had was the front 3 pocket area. the middle larger pocket was triangular (see the main pic for the bag) and using for travel doc holder(4.5" x 9"), it wouldn't hold my doc holder. the pocket narrows a lot at 6" deep, so holder stuck out several inches. i worried about it falling out or if someone would take it. the narrow pocket next to it was strange because it was hard to fit my hand to bottom of pocket and it widened at bottom so small items fell to bottom corner under the center triangular pocket. Why design a triangle pocket and side pockets to lengthen under it??? also the side pocket at bottom tore (i only had tissues/chap stick) there is no way to repair unless i unsew the inside of bag to get at it. that is poor design. I added a shoulder strap pad that worked well.

Worth it!
This bag was more expensive than my full size wheelie suitcase, but worth it!! Sturdy, comfortable handles to carry. Being able to attach to suitcase was helpful, even though it eliminated the ability to use the back pocket. So roomy! Will probably become my day to day commuter bag. Would def buy again.
