The Tactical Assault Panel (TAP) replaces the Fighting Load Carrier (FLC Vest) to allow for quick-release of equipment in emergency situations. TAP is compatible with the quick release system of the improved outer tactical vest (IOTV) and Soldier Plate Carrier System (SPCS). TAP can also be worn like a Ranger Assault Carrying Kit (RACK) in stand-alone mode, using the external webbing harness. Did not come as advertised
Product advertisement stated that the item came with all of the necessary straps. The picture even shows the item complete when in reality it arrived with NO straps. Don't waste your time and money on this dealer.

Pretty much your only option for an OCP compatible FLC (Fighting Load Carrier)
Good product. Loose threads everywhere though. Expect to spend a good half hour or more burning off all the loose thread ends that the manufacturer couldn't be bothered to trim neatly. (Lowest bidder problem, I guess.)There are instructions available online for how to set this up...you can either attach it to your IOTV or wear it as a RACK by itself. The pockets on the back/inside of the load carrier are to carry the extra pieces that aren't used while in one configuration or another...or maps and other small/flat items...those can fit in there too.

Highly Recommended
Brand new condition and made to fit on an IOTV (Gen II and up) but comes with shoulder straps and can also be worn separately, without the IOTV. Comes with everything you need for either application. This is a milspec and Army issue item made in the USA by a government contractor, so it is rugged and not some cheap knock-off that will fall apart with hard use. Highly recommended. Excellent option for AR-15, price unbeatable
Product was as described. The TAP is (by my standards) pleasantly overbuilt and is solid and rigid. The hook and loop fastened pull tabs are simple and fast to undo yet securely retain all mags. Shoulder straps are rudimentary by design, it was meant to primarily be worn with the IOTV or slick plate carrier, but the straps do work well, you should just wear a collared shirt while using.Does not fit 7.62x39 AK mags! Here's a neat idea: use the webbing on the front of the TAP to attach USGI grenade pouches and now you have a makeshift chest rig for WWII style clip-loaded rifles! Works great with my Garand.

Great!
This is a great item to carry your gear around in. Instantly makes you 3.4 times as tactical as you were before you put it on. It's made in USA and not made for airsoft. The straps could be wider to spread the weight out a little better but it works just fine. Holds a lot gear!

Not as pictured.
This is mag holder only. Does. It come with anything else shown in the pictures. No buckles, no stand alone harness, no additional attachment straps.

The perfect rig if you want something that isn't cluttered.
This is the best low profile tactical rig I've owned. It holds 6 mags (or boxes of ammo) a radio and a pistol. It's become my "go-to" lightweight rig for wild hog hunting. Stuff the pouches with some extra ammo, and some granola bars and hit the trail.
