Very beautiful plant!
I'll upload a picture soon as the peppers are turning black. The plant is as majestic beast. Very easy to keep alive in 90+ degree heat. My first attempt at germination was botched due to my own errors, but the one plant I kept alive and transplanted outside is thriving.

Germination? Not so great.
I am a very simple guy, and like to fly by the seat of my pants. I typically can grow peppers outdoors, as long as it’s warm, by planting directly into the pot they’ll live in.I will admit, maybe this was my mistake, and something could have gone wrong. However, out of all of the seeds, I only got two plants. However, with other varieties, from the same seed maker, I have grown dozens. Peppers are most of the time the same species of plant, with minor variations that have been cultivated, so using the same methods of germinating should provide similar results. So two plants (2 seeds) sprouted. They are very small and growing very slowly compared to my other plants. (The 3rd is a mulberry from my compost lol)I’ll give them 3 stars because I was able to grow something. if I had started this indoors, with a heat lamp and seed tray, and only got two plants, I’d give them 2 stars. So far, they look really cool, but I am pretty disappointed in their success rate.I will try once more, because the price isn’t too bad. I really want them to work, and this seed company has given me good results.I’ll come back and update the review if things change. :)09/05/2024 editI contacted the seller, let them know the problem, and they sent me a new batch of seeds.Thank you, Sherwood!

All my seeds sprouted, but the color is not as expected
I had great success with growing these, and though the young plant had dark dark leaves, as it has matured it has turned green and the small fruits it produces are bright red. A little unexpected, but still an attractive plant. Peppers are really hot!

100 percent germination rate
Took roughly 5 days, but I got 6 out of 6 seeds to germinate (there were a total of 11 seeds sent to me). I used a damp paper towel in a ziplock bag, placed the bag in a warm area (75-80 degrees). If you germinate your seeds this way, check daily for any signs of mold. If mold is present, transfer the seeds to a new paper towel and bag ASAP. Waited till the 8th day to transfer to small containers with seed starter soil. I’ve read some negative reviews on here about a few of their other peppers, but I went onto their website (sheewoodsseeds.com) and ordered about 12 different pepper seeds. I’m hoping to goodness I have luck with those seeds as well. However, if you want to grow some black pearl peppers, I’d recommend ordering these. Patience is key to growing healthy plants.
