Solid entry level bag for warm weather camping.
This is a review of a free product. I received this sleeping bag free for the purpose of review. What you're getting with this order:(1) Sleeping bag(1) Compression stuff sack. What is this and why might I want it?: This is an entry level sleeping bag in the budget price category. It combines the room of a rectangular bag with the drawstring hood of a mummy style bag. In addition, a right zip can be combined with a left zip to make a double bag.Does it work?: It's a decent entry level bag, appropriate for warmer weather camping. I've had it for a couple of months now and have the following observations to share:Appearance: As mentioned, rectangular style bag with a mummy style hood. Two tone color scheme alternating orange and blue in a diagonal pattern that is well represented in the product description photos. Lining is gray.Build: Outer bag is a 100% polyester that has the feel of a rip-stop material. Lining is a thin polyester and the fill is labeled simply as hollow fiber. This is a warm weather bag, with a comfort rating of 50 degrees and a survival rating of 32 degrees. What does that mean? Basically, these ratings assert that if you are wearing long underwear, you will be comfortable in this bag in temps as low as 50 degrees. The survival rating does not mean that you will be comfortable at that temp, but that you can survive a temperature of 32 overnight in this bag. The bag is sewn through in a serpentine pattern. This makes it a bit more comfortable if you're a restless sleeper as the different layers don't move over each other, and it's also more evidence that it's a warm weather bag as ultra cold temps can seep through such stitching but this is inconsequential in the recommended temps. This is available in a left or right zip. This can be a counter-intuitive notion when ordering as one might assume that a right handed user would want a right zip and a left handed user a left zip. The answer is that it doesn't matter much at all, but in general it is easier for a right handed user to close a left zip and vice versa. This is much more of a factor in a mummy bag where space is limited. With the room to move in this bag, either zip will work just fine. The weight of this bag is 3.6 which means it could be an appropriate choice for a warm weather backpacking trip. Though this is heavier than I would carry, it is actually on the lighter end for an entry level bag. It doesn't compress very small, but does fit in the sleeping bag compartment of an average backpack of 65L.I used this on a car camping trip over Labor Day weekend and temps dropped into the 50s. I can attest that the bag was comfortable at those temps and also that you wouldn't want to dip below that 50 degree comfort rating by much. In other words, it is what it claims to be and nothing more.Anything else of note?:-Free shipping keeps the price under $35-Right and Left zips can be joined to make a double bag.-Compression sack is a nice addition. Just fyi, you DON'T roll this up and then slide it into the sack as you might assume. You actually stuff it into the sack beginning with the foot of the bag. Push the bag in and rotate until the entire bag is in the sack. Tighten the drawstring and then the compression straps. If you're planning to use this for backpacking, you'll save space by simply stuffing this particular bag into your sleeping bag compartment and leaving the compression sack at home.Any negatives?:-The fill in my sample is bunched in some areas. This is usually a result of being stored in the compression sack for long periods of time. It's best to store a bag open believe it or not.- No draft collar or draft tubeBottom line: At 3.6 lbs, this entry level bag merits consideration from value minded campers looking for a warm weather bag. Because it combines the hood of a mummy bag with the more spacious sleeping space of a rectangular bag, it will prove more comfortable to the less experienced.

Good to take along on a camping trip.
The Free Walk Envelope sleeping bag is as depicted in the photos and described in the sales promo. It is protective against mild cold weather range of around 50 F. The padding is soft and comfortable, but do not expect a mattress. Made of 100% 210T Polyester with fill 100% Polyester pongee, water resistant and ripstop. It has sturdy two-way zippers, which allow two bag to be connected together. The bag can be easily folded, wrapped up and stored in its own system of Stuff sack. The drawstring hood is an added insulation.I tested the sleeping bag during a recent camping trip. I am 6'3"+/ 210 lbs, the bag was a bit short for me but otherwise fit quite comfortably. That night the outside temperature (in the mountain) dropped down to 46 F but I was warm and cozy in the bag.I update and revise reviews if I discover defects or problems after using the product for a while.I purchased this item with a discount coupon. I have no obligation to write a review. This is not a barter deal. It did not influence my opinion or rating. I have no financial or personal connection with the manufacturer, seller or their employees. My rating 4 stars = Good quality material and workmanship. Performs as expected. Would purchase again.Copyright Sinohey.

A sleeping bag perfect for the outdoors or in the home
When my nephew is around he likes to be all over the place, sometimes even hanging with his friends on their little "camping" trips that take place on my mom's deck. Because of that when I was offered this sleeping bag to try in exchange for an honest review I was glad to do so, thinking it would be great for him while inside or just lounging on the floor in the home. I was right on both counts. The bag itself arrives in an easy to carry bag that is also perfect for keeping it where you can easily find it. When you take it out the bag it unfolds easily, being large enough for a child or an adult. It's easy to get into, has a lot of room on the top for you to have a pillow to be comfortable, and gives you some real security.Great product that can be used wherever you need it.

This is a nice sleeping bag
Toasty at a excellent price point. This is a nice sleeping bag, better than those cheapos used for sleepovers but of course not as nice as a $500 REI super down bag. Great for camping, Ok for overnite hikes, but not light enough for longer treks, of course. Poly fill means warm even when damp, not like down, and easy care. Nice for unexpected guests too, when the guest bed is already filled.Compresses quite small, warm enough for three seasons use with a good pad- what more can you ask at this price point?I rcvd a sample for review.

Best Bang for Your Buck!
If you’re looking for a lightweight, warm and comfortable bag at an affordable price, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better option than this. This isn’t the lightest or warmest sleeping bag on the market, but it likely is at this price point (and it's very comparable to others a t a much higher price). The place where this sleeping bag really shines is it’s price tag. So if you’re a backpacker on a budget but you still want the quality, warmth and weight savings of a mummy style sleeping bag. This is certainly the best bang for your buck.

Excellent value
This is a great sleeping bag. I'm a large guy (6'3" - 270) and I found it comfortable during a recent summer camping trip. Well made, light weight. Comes in a bag itself so it travels well. Good value I can't wait to take it on my next adventure!
