Q: From the ingredients and cost, literally looks like pepto but better value. Is there a catch?

Not because you don't know the brand it means it's worst than Pepto. Obviously Pepto will work better because it's liquid versus this is a pill that works like 30 mins in.

Q: How does this compare to Pepto-Bismol?

Great question.. having used both, Pepto is okay but I find that this product is way more effective for me- especially dealing with bloat or discomfort, even heartburn. Plus, I have IBS which this tackles way better than Pepto. Actually, I have tried many products, and always come back to Kaopectate! Feel free to ask anything else (: hope this helps!
