I'm not always a fan of downloading an app to set up a new device, but am glad I did. I dont write a lot of reviews either, but I am grateful for this product's ease of use, would bowls, and large food capacity. The feeding app is free, not another subscription. My only tiny difficulty was that I didn't have the large batteries for backup power on hand, and I wish the QR sticker for the feeding app had a white background instead of clear because I filled the feeder prior to this step and then couldnt get it to scan. (My bad.) I was able to peel it off and stick it on top and then all has been well for the past couple months of use! I have the feeder set up for some outdoor kitties and it has worked perfectly. The app is very user friendly, and I appreciate being able to feed them manually or EASILY adjust the feeding schedule when I am not home. I have the feeder tucked away behind my duck pen where it has been a difficult spot for house sitters to feed the shy outdoor cats, and now they don't have to do it. I like being able to pick a feeding size number and time on my phone instead of having to click through a bunch of buttons on the feeder like I did with a previous inside feeder. The 7L capacity is great. I got another one for my inside rescues for when I'm gone as well, but recommend actually using the wall mount for your playful cats since they immediately dumped it over when I did not. The structure of this product is sound and easy to clip together. The lid is easy to open and is secure where the animals wont remove it to binge eat. I really have no complaints other than my own impatience of making the QR code difficult for myself by pre filling with food. I don't know how long it lasts on batteries only since I used an extension cord as well as the battery back up.

So far we like this a lot. I love that it has a battery backup in case the power goes out. I have one cat who will gorge herself on food and then immediately throw up so this helps portion her food throughout the day ensuring she doesn’t throw up every day. It was easy to assemble, I did it alone in less than 10 minutes. I also like the two bowls because when we first adopted our cats our girl wasn’t a fan of our boy so it kept them far enough away that they could both eat but close enough that they could smell each other which I think helped them bond. Overall it’s been sturdy, reliable and even though it’s on carpet the cats have not knocked it over.

This is my 2nd automatic feeder to try and I like it, the cats like it, it's working "well enough" (still testing all that out), so we're keeping it. The other one I sent back due to configuring issues but the configuring on this one works through the app on my phone so it is a little more dependable. It's very easy to put together and load the food, then close and lock the top. The app is a little more 'work' to get it configured to feed, but very intuitive so it only took a few minutes to get it all up and running. Since my cats were always fed separately because one of them is a thief, I had to move them closer together with their food bowls, switching from their former containers to the bowls that came with the feeder. Once they got the hang of that, I would feed them manually for a couple of days so eating at the feeder wouldn't traumatize them. Hey, they're cats. The only issue I've run into is that it's missed about 3 feedings in the 2 weeks I've had it programmed. On those occasions, when it's time to feed the feeder makes a sound but no food comes out so I have to either hit the manual button on the feeder or within the app and it'll release the food. Since that happened early on but hasn't since, I'm guessing it just had to settle into a regular function of releasing the food every time and/or it requires that there is more than enough food in the container to weigh down the food so that it is released. If it continues to work each and every time it's scheduled to release the food, I'll update my review with another star. Otherwise, the portions are perfect for my cats, the food capacity of the container is excellent and can feed them quite a long time without reloading, and everyone seems pretty happy with the feeder now.

Works great for my dog. I have it set on a twice a day feed timer with a 5 portion feed. I think the food gets stuck every once in a while cause they are maybe a little big, I feed her purina pro plan. But they eventually fall out with the next feed. I like the camera and the fact that I can talk to my furbaby through the speaker. I don’t have the SIM card in it so it doesn’t record but that’s ok. It has a long cord, is easy to fill and clean. The WiFi connection was a little time consuming but eventually I got it.

This feeder is amazing! 10000000/10 recommend. I have two cats and it works wonders for them! They absolutely love it and have gotten used to the sound when there food disensing fairly quickly. I do have a question if anyone has wondered or knows the answer to. There are red light indicators on the cameras that come on and I have only ever seen those red light indicators come on when someone is LIVE watching the cameras but when I looked it up, it said there was something wrong with the dispensing (but it wasn't time for them to be fed yet so I dont believe it was that) or the wifi was messed up but we have it plugged in and not connected to wifi so the doesn't make sense. Can someone help with this answer? Please and thank you!

Once you’ve downloaded the app, if it’s not connecting or detecting the device. All you have to do is unplugged the device for at least 10 seconds. And then once you plug it back in hold down the Wi-Fi pairing button for at least 10 seconds. This will hard reset the Wi-Fi connectivity feature on the device. And then it has reset you will hear beeping. This beeping is a good sign. It means that the device is now ready to connect to your app. So you open your app and you’ll get this prompt immediately that says to add the device. Now you can proceed to add the device and select your portion sizes and finish the set up on there. Super easy once I figured out what was wrong with it.

I used this for only 90 days and had issues with it not dispensing food. It would tell me "feed success" but there wouldn't be any food dispensed. I was able to troubleshoot it myself and got it working again until yesterday. no matter what I did, it would not dispense the food. I t5ried to find a contact number for the company and kept getting an offer to chat. I tried chatting and then they wanted me to sign up for a membership to get assistance! I refused to sign up and pay $55.00 a year for a membership. I had already purchased their product and feel as though I should have been able to get support without paying extra. I ended up ordering a different model pet feeder, and purchased a warranty with it. It just rubs me the wrong way to purchase a product then receive no support from the company when you have an issue with it.

Happy with this purchase. I feed my cats several times a day and they have both learned which side is theirs. :) I like that the bowls are on opposite sides so they can both eat in peace. Some other models have them side by side. This wouldn't be an issue with my bonded brothers, but some cats might not like it. Dispenses just the right amount set on 1 serving. BUT... 95% of the time it dispenses, but there are occasions where it will beep like it is dispensing then not dispense food. It is easy enough to just feed with the button or app but it is just unreliable enough that if you are going out of town it could be a problem. If I'm going anywhere I make sure I have a indoor camera towards the feeder so I can make sure it actually feeds. This might be a problem with other models too, but something to be aware of. It's not bad enough that I regret the purchase, but wanted others to be aware. App is easy to connect and set up.
