Picture and sound quality were very good The amazon description clearly says "no subscription" nd the cameras come with a 2months free trial subscription. So far, so good. However after the free subscription ended and we didn't renew it, all we got from the cameras were alerts and no recordings. This is absolutely useless during the night or from a distance as the only way we can see what as happened is to put the pen drive storage into the computer. Also irritating were our attempts to contact arlo for advice/information.A ll we got were FAQ stylevideos and articles. Although the camersare very good they don't deliver what we need like our original Arlo Pros so these new cameras have been a complete waste of money
