Love It – So Many Creative Possibilities
I absolutely love this machine. It has opened up so many creative possibilities, and I find myself constantly thinking of new projects to make. The quality is excellent, and it works smoothly once set up. There are so many things you can create with it, which makes it incredibly fun and versatile. Whether you’re working on small crafts or more detailed projects, it handles everything really well. Everything arrived in great condition, and setup was straightforward. Overall, this has been a great purchase and something I genuinely enjoy using. Highly recommended for anyone who loves crafting and creating.

This thing is crazy!
The Cricut Maker 4 is the nicest machine I own now. I do disc golf dyes, so having something that can cut out any tedious design I can imagine with precision and crazy accuracy has launched my hobby into the atmosphere! The bundle this comes with is enough to get started, but I would order a dental pick for easier weeding. Relatively compact for the functionality that you get. This thing is a powerhouse, stable Bluetooth to my computer so far, and easy to set up following the instructions. The nice thing is that the design software is pretty robust, and has a large community of creators providing plenty of video tutorials to make anything you can think of. 5/5 would recommend if you have the budget, but if you are just looking for something to cut things, I would go with the joy, or an older model to save some money.

Great Product
Edit: We found the tool in the picture. Seashell is a great color. We love it.

Good buy.
The light grip mat came bent, and the box even said if it was bent to sit something heavy on it for 24 hours and it will shape back to flat. That is not true. And the light grip mat seems extra sticky. I used it one time and could not get the item off without it tearing. So I just threw it away. I prefer the green mats for everything. The maker 4 is my first cricut machine and I am enjoying it so far.

Great tool and machine.
Good project source. Wife loves it. All in one. You’ll need the special tools to finish but over all good. Came in manufactured box. Didn’t have option for another box. Wife almost saw it on porch. Was a gift.

Good quality, very heavy
Works perfect. Learning curve, not something you go home plug and play with.

Maker is Fine, Bundle leaves something to be desired
THIS IS SPECIFIC TO THE "BEGINNER FRIENDLY" offer. This was a gift for someone starting out with a Cricut cutter. I wouldn't call it "beginner friendly." First, the box has been opened and some "stuff" has been dumped in. The cutting mat was curled up so badly that after a week, it's still not flat. It also seems a lot flimsier than the typical Cricut (or even HTVront) mats. The "tools" are minimal. There are a few supplies, but most (including transfer tape and the "paper" are trimmed down to 6"x12", which severely limits any ability to do some of the more extensive projects that would appear in the touted digital manuals included in the description.) At this point (since we have not undone the shrink-wrap around the actual machine--it's a gift), we're not sure if they even included the cutting housing. (Will update this after Christmas--good thing I have extras with my own machine). So...bottom line, unless you're comfortable with adding to this package, I would recommend just going for a true bundle that has a much broader array of materials. Also the picture is misleading. It shows square versions of the paper and vinyl, which are not included--the are not 12"x12" but 6"x12" samples. The "mini weeding tool" is too small to be effective. Also please note, to get the true benefit of "Design Space," (the software that runs the machine) you should have a subscription--either monthly at $9.99 plus tax (as of December 2025) or annually at $95.98 per year (as of December 2025). As far as Design Space goes, it runs pretty well on a Mac or a laptop, could not get the Cricut Design Space app to work on either my iPhone or iPad. (I wouldn't recommend using a phone anyway, the layout is too small). Further, the iPhone and iPad apps would not "find" my machine on my network. If these programs don't work on an already established Cricut Maker, I doubt the experience will be any different for this gifted one. Now I'm really worred that this was a gigantic mistake!!! Hopefully the machine IS new, the housing and blade are included.
