10.6in High Carbon S.S. Fixed Blade Knife with 5.2in Tanto Blade and TPE Handle for Outdoor, Tactical, Survival and EDC

This is a budget knife and I like the softer blade steels, like 9CR 8Cr and 440. So it sharpens easy and it did need a little sharpening, but it's a very nice knife, it's not perfect grinds, but you're paying less than $50 and it doesn't rattle around the sheath. I like the crusher on the back of it. I like the grippy handle, and I like the shape of the blade. It's very slicy very stabby very fine tip. I like the combo Edge also. I like the serrations I think they'll do anything that the regular Edge will do, but a little bit more. I think this would make a good tactical knife or hunting knife, but not so much hunting because of the Tanto Edge, but excellent for all other needs. I collect knives and I have some Tops Puma and other nice fixed blades but this is one of my favorite knives for the purpose that I bought it. I didn't pay so much that I'm afraid to use it but it's good enough to do anything you want it to do!

This knife is awesome. It has a belt loop on its sheath so it is easy to EDC. All you got to do is have a belt and you can carry this bad boy anywhere. I have literally gotten several comments about how awesome it is from random strangers wearing it in public. It's a quality metal and has a good/great edge on it with a rubberized textured handle for better gripping. Overall I give this knife 5 out of 5 stars for the simplicity yet durability and overall awesomeness of it, I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new EDC knife that has some guts to it but does not want to break the bank. Plus, who doesn't love Smith& Wesson they're an American icon!

I just unboxed this knife a little while ago and wanted to give my immediate impression of it for this review. It seems very sturdy, pretty hefty, and well made. It is also just small enough to not be cumbersome, or one of those knives that is too big to warrant carrying it around all the time. It came hair shaving sharp and as pretty as can be. The handle is also much softer than I anticipated, which is nice. Over all, for the money, I'm very pleased with this purchase. I could see the sheath possibly having to be replaced at some point, but that is easy enough. This knife gets 5 stars!

Bought these for my SHTF kit and this knife has performed and held up amazing. Best knife I have ever owned. It sits in the holster very snug with a snap to it when inserted. There are multiple points on the holster to allow mounting im different fashions and the has been exactly what I needes for survival skills to. The edge holds up very well.

Just got mine a few days ago. I must say this is very nice combat knife, it has all the necessary requirements: full tans, the perfect blade size, very sharp, it has a nice weight to it .... you can tell you are holding something substantial, blade profile is very nice and well designed (tanto style). As a mention before this is a true combat knife..... you will be able to perform some bushcraft tasks as well but make no mistake this thing was designed for one purpose only. The sheath is not kydex but is very well made too, retention is excellent as well. Belt loop is interchangeable from right and lefties. The handle is very comfortable is has this very grippy rubber like feel to it, grip is secure even with wet hands. So far nothing but good impression I would definitely recommend.

It fits very well in my hand and looks amazing, it's not small but it's also not ridiculously large so it's good for everyday use especially since it keeps it's edge very well with heavy use. Overall a great high quality very well balanced knife.

When I bought this knife, I was going to add it to an existing gun belt. Meaning I had plans to use a Tek-Lok to mount the knife to my 2" belt. I had no issue adding the Tek-Lok other than having to use longer screws. What I didn't like is the sheath guard and retention method. The guard at the top of the sheath does not let you grasp the entire knife handle while pulling the knife from the sheath. You can get three fingers on the back end of the blade, but you have to pull it part way out to get your index finger into the handle. The retention seems to be on the rubber hilt of the knife, which may wear down with use, but that remains to be seen. The knife itself is great. A slight change to the sheath and this would be a serious winner.

Great knife solide metal all the way through the handle to blade (one piece). Has great balance. Sharp tanto style blade. Grip feels good. I have had this for over 3 years (writing this now). Still works great. I use it almost everyday in the bush. This is one of those solid steal knives that you can trust 100%.

Ich habe ein Messer gesucht, welches den allround Anforderungen standhält, von erhöhter Stahlgüte ist, eine taugliche Scheide besitzt u. dazu noch erschwinglich ist. Folgende Arbeiten habe ich ausgiebig getestet u. konnte keine Nachteile feststellen: Schnitzen, Holz spalten, Zubereitung von Speisen, Ausnehmen von Fischen, Öffnen von Dosen.... All diese Punkte erfüllt das SW7 meiner Meinung nach mit Bravur. Es ist hervorragend ausbalanciert u. liegt sehr gut in der Hand. Der verwendete Stahl lässt sich gut schärfen u. weist auch bei grober Handhabung die erforderliche Zähigkeit auf um nicht zu brechen. Auch die spitz zulaufende Tanto Klinge macht keine anstalten zu brechen. Der Griff ist gummiert u. rutschsicher. Die Scheide ist aus festem Kunststoff u. hält das Messer sicher u. fest. Bei ähnlicher Preisklasse ist dies meist ein grosses Manko. In Summe bekommt man hier eine Qualität die man auch für den professionellen Einsatz verwenden könnte (Heer etc...)

Uso essa faca a 3 anos e realmente é um diferencial de lâmina fixa. Criei uma paixão por ela mas hoje o preço dela tá MT alto msm assim pagaria, tempos atrás comprei ela baratinha... Super recomendo, coloca no cinto e põe por dentro do bolso direito um saque ótimo e rápido lâmina grande e boa. Amei.
