It was unexpected simple use. The thermometer helps me keep tracking the baby’s temperature every day. Keeps them safe! Very cheap price but good quality. Good to store one for home use.

I buy it for my newer baby. It’s accurate and easy to use.  You can also use this thermometer to measure temperature of an object such as the formula milk in the bottle or the room temperature.Just need to point the thermometer toward the subject you want to measure the temperature, press the Start button. The backlight on the LCD screen will be on. And the reading will be displayed on the screen. The readings can vary slightly but if in doubt, you can take 3 in quick succession and work out the average.

The thermometer measures temperature very quickly (one second or faster). It is very precise, light and looks great. I'm really satisfied with the product. I highly recommend it.

Very simple easy to use design great value for the cost.Things I noticed:• the thermometer reads approximately 1 degree below a rectal temperature when using it via an ear - and approximately 1 degree above a rectal when using as a forehead (confirmed via research)• the thermometer is accurate (except see above)• very simple and easy to use, came in Celsius was easily switched to Fahrenheit• very quick reading• survives being dropped several timesThe cons:• no shut off button or switch - it automatically times out• needed to research temperature differentials between forehead rectal and ears

Always used the traditional thermometers where you stuck under the armpit or under the tongue. Seen the Dr used these and wanted one. This one here comes with a satchel which is a plus so won't get scratched and scuffed depending on where you keep it. The reasons are quite accurate. At first i was wondering why it kept getting an err reading because as soon as you press the button it starts reading. Swipe across the forehead and you got a temp. Or you can uncap and put in the ear to get yor reading as well. Affordable and easy to use i highly recommend. Comes with 2 aaa batteries. Great till too have at home for the kids.

I was taking my kids' temps with this and kept getting less then normal readings when they were obviously burning up. I'm sorry I bought it and will stick with my old fashioned under-the-tongue model. This was a waste of money and I can't even return it!

Not as described. Can not get a correct reading. Every time is something different. Thought it was the batteries so went with the most expensive I could find and nada.
