This 1.1 cu-ft freezer is similar to a 1.6 cu-ft dorm fridge but has 2” of insulation instead of 1.2”, a [-8°F to 7°F] thermostat instead of one with a refrigerator temperature range, and a single storage compartment. The L35C5L compressor seems like a fairly common model and good quality. The thermostat of course doesn’t have a frost-free cycle. It arrived in good shape without any dents. It seems very well engineered, is more energy efficient and has a slightly quieter hum than other dorm fridges I’ve used except for the relay “dink” sound. Two or three times an hour it sounds like a coin dropping into a small tin can. At 77° F ambient, it cools down faster than 2° per minute which is excellent. Temperature rises 1° every 2-3.5 minutes when the compressor is off (empty). It draws 7A on start-up and then about 0.7A while running. I bought it so I could convert it to a well-insulated refrigerator (because of the thick insulation). Not an easy project but it’s possible. I’ll add details to this review when I finish which will include a separate temperature controller, internet alert thermometer, and more door insulation. I am very pleased with the construction, engineering, and compressor that I believe should have a long life as a refrigerator running infrequently and using about 7-8 watts per hour at 30F average. You never know what the failure rates on these kind of products are but it is very well constructed and seems to me to be a five-star freezer as-is.

So far, so good. It works, and it’s very quiet. Just be aware that it is very small and, like most mini fridge/freezers, doesn’t have auto defrost, so you’re going to have to defrost it pretty regularly. I’ve only had it for 3 weeks, and ice is already starting to build up. We only use it to store ice packs for injuries or migraines (so they don’t pick up odors), so I can’t say if it’s good at freezing ice or anything. It did come with a cute little ice cube tray, though. I also liked that it was fully assembled, and I didn’t have to put the door on. It ships in the manufacturer’s box, in case you plan to surprise anyone.

Pro: Works well as a freezer or refrigerator. Keeps both meat and ice cream frozen. Is very quiet. The size is perfect for my spare room. I have only had this feezer for a couple of months, but so far no function issues. Con: Difficult to remove from the box/packaging. Instructions were difficult to read. The legs will not level evenly on the one I received, so had to place a wedge underneath one leg. The top of the freezer exterior was dented when I received it.

This is an awesome little freezer!!! It truly keeps food frozen at the proper temperature, operates quietly, doesn't take up much space and is attractive in appearance. I also love the fact that I haven't had any ice build up which makes keeping the freezer clean a simple task. I purchased this freezer specifically to freeze and store the food that I prepare for my two pups. I use one section to store the ingredients and the other section to store the prepared meals. The only issue that I have with this freezer is that I wish it had more room on the inside or designed a little different to hold larger items. Regardless, the quality of this item is awesome and I still love it!!! The quality of this item is wonderful! 🩷🩷🩷

So far a month runs great no issues at all.

Overall, I like this freezer. The size fits perfectly at my home, and it is spacious inside. Before I received it, the seller I guess sent an email how I can operate the freezer well. Like put them straight at least 1 day for the stability. This helps me. I had compared the price of freezers from Amazon different seller, Costco, HomeDepot, etc. But this is quite good compared to the price. It is cheap, so I sometimes wonder it works well or not. So, I touch the food or stuff inside freezer and everything is frozen well haha. But, if you put the freezer at your kitchen, or living area, you might hear the noise it makes. When I open the door in my bedroom, sometimes I hear it is running due to the noise.

I’ve been wanting/needing a small but not too small freezer for quite some time and this is perfect! I’m really impressed with how much it holds, how quiet it is and it fit perfectly in the space I have for it! Great value for the price!

Bought one of these back in Nov 24. It worked great up until about 3 wks ago when I noticed that the sides were freezing up. So I unplugged and defrosted it. Plugged back in and noticed that my meats are not freezing. Just contacted seller and waiting to hear back. Exactly 1 year is how long it lasted. Good but won’t buy again.
