The BEST Piggie Fleece Money Can Buy
After trying a couple different types of professionally made fleece bedding, this one is by far the best. The quality of the materials is impeccable. Most other fleece bedding is made with low quality commercial fleece from box store chains with uhaul blanket for an inner lining. The fleece used in GuineaDad is so soft and supple it almost feels like suede. The bamboo inner liner of GuineaDad is so much more absorbant and durable. Perhaps the biggest selling point for me is the waterproof material on the bottom. I have two adult guinea pigs in a single Midwest cage. With other fleece liners I have to put several layers underneath to contain the pee but with GuineaDad I only need the fleece liner thanks to the waterproof bottom. The instructions say that you only need to change out once a week but I do it every day. Maybe I am just more fastidious about keeping my pigs clean, dry and fresh smelling, but I just find it easier to swap it out daily. I have two GuineaDads that I alternate with so they go through the wash frequently. They wash well and do need extra drying time. Despite the rigorous washing, they haven’t pilled like other liners do. Hay also comes off like a breeze and dont wind into the fibers. They are absolutely worth the investment and I will be purchasing more to add to my stash. My pigs LOVE the pocket. If you prefer to use it without the pocket simply turn the pocket inside out and fold down underneath the bottom.

Must have for owning guinea pigs!
We’ve rescued ten guinea pigs over the last 8 years. We now have two of these and only got them within the last six months. We are so sad we only tried these now. We saw youtubers using these and weren’t sure it was worth the cost. We typically used normal bath/beach towels and fleece, which required more changing/washing and didn’t tame smell well. However, we finally invested in these and do not regret them AT ALL. We got the biggest size and it covers most of our C&C 2x5 cage. The rest we line with a nice folded blanket. We wash the liners once a week and spot clean them at least twice daily. It absorbs amazingly well and keeps odor to a minimum. We use a simple solid stick air freshener as well, but that’s because our cage is in a closed off room hence air doesn’t revolve in and out in there as well as in a more open space. The washing instructions are simple and easy to follow and work for any washing machine one may have. We’ve had these liners for six months now at least and there’s absolutely no sign of wear and tear on them. They’ve even gone through a case of nasty mites, which when following the instructions of how to wash and treat the liners for mites works wonderfully well. Our one pig who loves to burrow more than the other LOVES the pocket and hides in it practically all day. It is also so much more softer for our guinea pigs’ feet than worn down less absorbent towels. We haven’t seen dried out or cracked skin on their feet since we got these. We love it. They love it. It’s a win win. It’s a little much depending on what size you get to shell out at first, but water bill, time, and energy wise it pays for itself! We will always support this company and it’s quality products for guinea pigs! I highly recommend them to anyone with guineas!

This cheapskate piggie lover says worth it.
I was super hesitant to buy these because I'm a cheapskate and they're kind of pricey but oh man is it worth it.I have 3 Guinea pigs (2 cages in total) and I am constantly having to do laundry because my piggies aren't potty trained, and probably never will be. So i weighed the pros and cons of either constantly doing laundry or coughing up the money for this liner and the only thing I'm upset about is that it took me so long to finally purchase this product. This liner is so comfortable, absorbent and is an excellent quality. The biggest thing for me was absorbency so when I first got it, to test the absorbency, I laid it on myself and put 2 of my Guinea pigs on it. They hung out, had a snack, cuddled into it, and when they did pee, which ended up being multiple times, absolutely nothing got on me. I checked to see if the urine would bead down and go over the sides but it didnt, it went right into the pad and stayed there. So far weve just used it as a cuddle or play mat for the piggies a few times without having to wash it and it doesnt smell. Soo while I cant say how this would officially be in a cage, I do plan to purchase these for their cages because I think it would do so well just based off of what I've seen. It's sooo worth it.I do want to say that I also use the IKEA bath Mats, which alot of people seem to use as an alternative to these and that's exactly why I had got them but they're absolutely no comparison. The IKEA mats, although they're easy to clean, they get stinky pretty easily imo.So if you're on the fence, just do it if you can. I really doubt you would regret it.

Amazing fleece!
While this fleece is rather pricey (as all custom cage fleeces tend to be), I found that it is definitely worth it. It's very efficient, absorbent, professionally made, and of high quality. It really cuts down on the hassle of cage cleaning time, and washes really well. All of the packaging and instructions were well thought out and executed. I really feel like the makers care about guinea pigs and making a great product. I loved that the box doubles as a little hut, and I've actually been using that for while now- my pig loves it!I spot clean this fleece for guinea pig waste with a brush and dustpan each day. Then at the end of the week I use the recommended corded mini dirt devil vaccuum to suck up all of the hair. Finally, I toss it all into the washer and dryer using the recommended heat settings, sometimes with vinegar. I haven't had any problems with funky smells afterwards. I really prefer this product over a fleece on towels/absorbent materials, since it has some structure to it and is easier to shake off, sweep, and vacuum.I think it's exciting to see a new small company start up that is dedicated to making customized products for guinea pigs!
