Very stiff!
I don't know if it's because I ordered through Amazon, but this "perfection" Baden feels like it sat in a hot warehouse for a couple years drying out. The leather is stiff and very hard to the touch. By comparison, the Baden microfiber Lexum has great grip and feel for a much better price.

I was always a big fan of Baden VBs vs Tachikara. It's been along time since i played competitively but recently started coaching again. I feel like the leather on this particular ball was a bit "slick" right out of the box. I'm a setter so I'm a bit fussy. i recall the Baden-Baden I used to use many many years ago having a softer touch. appears to be made well. I plan to research, get some good use of this ball to see if it softens up and look into what other models Baden offers.

doesn't hold air.
I purchased this ball as a Christmas gift, gave it to the intended recipient only to hear the ball will not hold air. I would request a replacement but that doesn't seem to be an option.

Overall it is a great volleyball. The only con that I have is that I use it for some younger age children and it seems a little hard on them, even after letting out some air. But for adults, it's great! I love hitting this ball!
