High-quality, flexible, and durable sanding pads, good value
Cutting to the chase: Highly recommended. These sanding pads conform well to curves and edges and are still tough enough to do the job without tearing. The TLDR (Too Long Didn’t Read) Version I do a lot of DIY projects, and I can say these are good sanding pads. They flex enough to hug curves and edges without being too stiff and are sturdy enough to complete the task. I just used these to round and smooth the edges of some shelves I built for my greenhouse, and they performed well. Given the performance, the number of pads in this set, and the variety of grits from 80 to 320, this set is an excellent value for the money. Closing Statement: PLEASE NOTE: My reviews reflect my opinion of my customer experience with the product, based on its performance as delivered versus what the product’s description and/or pictures or diagrams may suggest. Easily a 5-star product! 1 Star: Abysmal customer experience and/or failed to meet significant parts of its description. 2 Stars: Poor experience, primarily as described, but second-rate and/or very poor value. 3 Stars: Average experience, reasonably meets the expectation promised in its description. 4 Stars: Good experience, meets all described expectations, and is a reasonable value for money. 5 Stars: Excellent experience! Far outperformed all expectations.

Useful, Flexible Sanding Sponges
Why did you pick this product vs others?: These sanding sponges are flexible and convenient to use. The grit is consistent and the entire surface is usable. The flexibility means you can get use out of more of the surface than just the corners.

Good deal for 16 sanding sponges
I like to use sanding sponges like these when I am sanding items with curved surfaces because you can wrap the sponge around a round object and sand multiple sides at the same time, unlike with a rigid sanding block that can only sand on a level horizontal line. They also are better than just using a sheet of sandpaper because these give you something you can hold onto, and they can be used wet or dry, which allows for more variation of projects to use them on. After using them a few times, I am happy with my purchase, and at $9.99 for 16 sponges (2 pieces each of 8 different grits), these are a great deal that work well!

Too abrasive for shower
Worst wash cloths ever. Very abrasive to my skin.

For refinishing a weathered teak rocker
Have a teak rocking chair on the porch that has turned grey and mottled. Planning to remove the grey with light machine sanding 100 to 150 grit. Will use these sanding sponges to use surfaces that cannot be easily or successfully sanded with my pad sander or oscillating tool. If the project turns out well, I may bring the rocker inside and substitute a chair that does not need to be stabilized whenever it gets real windy. I have used sponge sanding pads before but those were single-sided. I like that these are double-sided. Makes sense to provide extra usability without adding the cost of additional sponge backing. Marked edges makes grit selection easy. Using these without gloves is not a problem for me but other people may be more concerned about the potential for having their skin abraded.
