We really like Seventh Generation products! They used plant-based ingredients for everything, even the fragrance - the one we ordered is lime & ginger scented. And the plastic bottle is 100% made from recycled plastic. It works great and is safe for our septic system (no harmful dyes or ingredients that cause excessive suds (bad for septic systems and the environment). Highly recommend this dish liquid! And it's made in the USA - Vermont!

A environmentally friendly dish soap that performs at a high level. The smell is non invasive and gentle but most importantly for me is that it doesn't damage my hands after use. It is easy to use and leaves no residue on my dishes. I must say however that it doesnt sud as much so at times you may need to apply a bit more for those tough greasy pots and dishes.

Listen... I have used Dawn since the dawn of time and even it couldn't get my glasses to sparkle like whoa. Seventh generation knows what they're doing. My wine glasses, goblets, any anything else in this category sparkle when I use this dish detergent. I don't even think it qualifies as a dish detergent, as it is so natural and amazing. I'd classify it more as God's gift to dishes. There is no comparison. I'm a fan for life. Until they change the formula and become worse. But I hope they don't. The End.

I’ve been looking for a dish soap that works but does not leave a strong scent behind in bottles and cups. We grew up on using regular dawn and dawn platinum but that is way too strong with scent and suds. We’ve also used Palmolive which I feel certain ones have too strong of a scent. Strong suds in my opinion just takes more water to rinse off which wastes water and time. This dish soap is perfect in my opinion. Not too strong in suds and not too strong in smell but gets the job done. I really do love the lime/ginger smell.

Acceptable scent - not too strong. It's gentle on my hands and I can easily* water down this dish soap to refill my foaming hand soap dispensers. Works great and is pretty economical that way. (It's hard to find foaming hand soap refill liquid these days anyway.) (*This dish soap is not super-concentrated, so it is easier to water down to the right consistency to refill my foaming hand soap dispenser.)
