Sunkist® Individually-Wrapped Fruit Gems 32OZ (2 LB) Pouch

These are one of my favorites. I have dietary preferences due to health issues, and these contain no high-fructose corn syrup or artificial flavors, and use fruit juice and turmeric primarily for color. The individual flavors are distinct and appropriately color correspondent. They are produced in a peanut free facility for those with allergies. They are clearly stamped with an expiration date, and mine have over a year, but will never last that long. The wrappers are appropriately marked with Sunkist on each candy, as they should be. They are not a sticky candy and similar to Turkish delight in taste. They are soft and slowly melt or can be easily chewed. The sugar coating has a nice texture feel as it melts, and they are sized just right.

Yum!! These were my great grandmothers favorites when I was a little kid 40+ years ago. My wife and I were reminiscing about good things from the 89’s and we both agreed these were very tasty. So I looked to see if they were still made, and lo and behold, Jelly Belly (another favorite of mine) still makes them! So off to Amazon to get some. I thought the price was a little steep but I didn’t care; we were in a mission. I ordered three bags. When the package arrived a few days later on my porch I thought “I don’t remember buying a bag of concrete!” Imagine my surprise when I brought them in. These bags were huge; a lot bigger than I thought they’d be! They’re actually a great value due to the volume. But that’s ok; out comes Grandmas old candy dishes inherited and now I’ve become a little old man I guess. But I’ve got candy dishes all over the house full of tasty, chewy, fruity goodness (and they are every bit as good quality and taste as I remember!) that reminds me of a little old lady that gave the best hugs and always had the best candies.

These by far are the best fruit gems ever. I have to hide them from myself. The perfect sugar coated jelly candy! The flavors are great! I 100% recommend these, if you are a jellied candy lover!

fresh and good but the mix of flavors was not even....needs more red and green...price was good

These are a little pricey but my grandkids are dye free and these taste so good and they don’t even notice the missing dye/color because they have natural color to them. I buy these for all my grandkids and will continue doing so. Hopefully someday their price will come down.

It’s the best candy to have! Be sure to get it whenever you have a taste for these little babies!
