4RUNNER TRD Shift KNOB PTR57-34141-02

First off....Amazon fitment states it does not fit 2024 Toyota ORP 4RUNNER. This is NOT correct. If you don't like the original silver TRD shift knob in your all black interior, then this is the solution. It's a bit pricey, OEM Toyota accessory, but makes a noticeable change in appearance. Silver knob in pics is factory and the black is this version. Perfect fit and finish. I used a couple wraps of PTFE thread tape on the shift lever when installing. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN!!!!

Just bought this for my 2020 TRD Pro. Absolutely love it. If you’re thinking about buying this, just do it. It’s worth it. Buy once, cry once. Expensive but I’m glad I did get it. The quality is great. Super happy!

Put this on my gray 2015 4Runner Trail Premium and it made a “Hu...ge” difference in feel and looks. Love the all black look with the red stitching that matches my interior. The price is steep and it made me hesitant to buy one at first and nearly went with other branded aftermarket knobs but so glad I went with this. It still has the factory look while giving you a classier and sporty look and feel. Very easy to install also. Twist off old knob and twist on new one. I did use a little blue Loctite to secure it more.

The shift knob worked perfect and is much nicer than the one I had before.

This is a very nice upgrade from the standard shift knob. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because for $90, toyota could have used more premium materials like real leather and adonized aluminum. This particular shift knob is made from pleather, plastic with a trd logo embossed in the top and subtle red stitching that ads a nice touch. Still a really nice peice that helps bring together the center console area, especially if you add some custom trim peices from AJT Design. One installation note I must add is that you have to be careful when screwing this on to the factory drive stick. It has plastic threading on the inside so it is very easy to strip the plastic if you over tighten. Once you strip the plastic threads it will not screw on properly. Just tighten til it is firm and not loosly spinning and add a tiny amount of CA super glue to the threads to hold it in place. Do not use loctite threadlocker (red or blue). Over time the loctite will eat through the plastic and make it brittle. Any store baught super glue is safe such as gorilla glue gel super glue or loctite ulta gel control super glue.

I have seen other reviews on here that question if it is real leather. It feels more like leather than what came from the factory on my SR5 Tundra. Love the red stitching. This is a top quality OEM product. That looks and feels amazing. The red stitching, TRD embossing, and leather looks so sharp.

Great product, genuine Toyota part. This was my first upgrade and definitely enhances the interior look of the truck. I can not recommend this product enough and for a fraction of the cost from dealership pricing.
