Nature Made Potassium Gluconate 550mg, 100 Tablets (Pack of 2)

I ordered these because they said they’ve got 550 mg potassium, but when I saw the back of the bottle upon opening I saw that they actually have 90mg. That’s 2% of daily value. I feel deceived by their very poor description.

I have had severe leg/foot cramps at night for over 12 years. The only thing that worked reliably was a prescription called Quinine Sulfate. It is incredible. But the FDA recently got in the way and made it nearly impossible to get. Found that using High Potency Magnesium, 400 mg, and Potassium Gluconate, 550 mg, together every night before bed WORKS to keep the cramps from happening. Magnesium alone did not do it, Potassium Gluconate alone did not do it. The combination works INCREDIBLY well. For those that hear about putting a bar of soap in your bed...yeah. That bar of soap had no magical powers, it was to use as something to grab and rub on your legs like a massager to rub the cramps out. Rubbing won't touch the horror that is the kind of cramps I get. They stand me up from a REM (dream state) sleep like a lightning bolt. I used to shoot them with Biofreeze 360 and try to walk or rub or dance or stretch or cuss or cry...they just had to let go on their own. I do not have them anymore. These two elements are something that people who get night cramps need. Pass it on.

Made in USA. So hard to find anymore. So yeah...that's why I bought it. As to why I'm supplimenting with potassium, its because my body craves salt because I run miles a day. Issues arose with stiffness after running and even short rests. Intercelluar hydration was not occuring because postassium was too low for my salt intake. So I could drink gallons and never get the hydration into my muscles without the proper potassium intake to allow water to pass through the cell membrane. Incidentally, I wasn't getting nourishment to my muscles either, because my cell membrane "doors" were shut without enough potassium! The result for increasing my potassium has been better running time, better recovery, increased muscle, and fat loss.*Remember* this is a SUPPLEMENT, not a replacement for nutrition. You will still need to seek out potassium rich foods to get the level of potassium that off sets your sodium intake. (Or lower your sodium intake!)

If you need a potassium supplement this product is definitely worth the money. I was taking a diuretic and needed to take a potassium supplement to replace the potassium being lost through urine. Be sure to check with your doctor if you are taking a diuretic to see if you need to be taking a potassium supplement. When I first started taking the diuretic my doctor didn't tell me I also needed a potassium supplement. I became very lethargic and felt horrible. When I went to see him his comment "oh I forget to tell you that you needed to replace the potassium the diuretic was removing". Poor healthcare in my opinion! Obviously I'm no longer seeing that doctor. You doctor can write a script for the potassium supplement but I found buying it OTC worked better for me.

So I bought this deceptively advertised product thinking it has 550mg of potassium per serving. I mean it is what the bottle says. Noticed however after running the barcode through my fitness app that it only gave me 90 mg per serving. Found out on its nutritional label it does say only 90 mg. Decpetive, lying marketers, a horrible product, a deceptive company. Will never buy another thing from this company again.

I take all my vitamins and minerals because I hope they help. I have no earthly idea if they do but I will continue to take them anyway.

I am now buying this using the scheduled delivery program. It’s some thing that I can count on without having someone go to the store and buy it for me. Price is fine plus my doctor considers this a reliable over-the-counter company.

This is the best Potassium for my leg cramps. I have used it for years, and any time I tried a different product I wound up switching back. I have recommended this to other people who have had the same issue and they have had great results too.
