I recently purchased this Tactical Pen – a multifunctional tool that has quickly become an essential part of my everyday carry. As a self-defense pen, it offers peace of mind with its sturdy build and easy-to-use glass breaker tip. But it's so much more than that! The built-in flashlight is bright and practical, perfect for finding items in the dark or during power outages. The addition of a bottle opener adds a layer of convenience to my outdoor activities and social gatherings. Having three ink refills included is a thoughtful touch, ensuring long-term usability without the hassle of frequent replacements. What impresses me most is the generous inclusion of 12 batteries, guaranteeing that the flashlight remains operational for a long time. The pen feels great in hand, not too bulky yet solid enough to handle the rigors of daily use. It’s not just a tool but a reliable companion for various situations. Overall, this Tactical Pen is a fantastic blend of utility and durability. To date I have purchased both the S.W.A.T. and the MTP-6 tactical pens. Because I am crazy about gadgets and being a serious EDC hominid. First came the S.W.A.T. the followed by the MTP-6. Had to have the flashlight. The flashlight is absolutely perfect for its size. I would also add if you were in a dark environment and you applied the stobe light feature it would definitely disorient your foe for the purpose of a distraction. Of course this flashlight is not going to light up the side of a mountain but it will get you down a dark stair well or help you find something you dropped in a dark room. So my opinion is that it is very functional. The build quality of both of these pens is a ten. I believe for my every day carry it will be the S.W.A.T. Just because it fits my hand so well. It is a little bigger in thickness and has a ton of indents and ridges, useful if you need it for the intended purpose.

Overall a cool piece of kit. Material quality is nice, not too hefty, not too light. Feels rigid. Flashlight is nothing to brag about but with it taking up so little room it's a nice feature. Would be useful to see a keyhole or down the crack of car seat to console if you needed to. Glass breaker is nice and works well. Flipping it gives you the dinky "multitool" but is disappointing. First off it's very easy to unscrew the tool from the actual but, when you're trying to flip it back over to glass breaker (can't tell if a feature or just ease of manufacturing). Most problematic is that the specific one I got seems to be fully assembled at an angle, making it very hard to actually use as a screwdriver. Feels more like an afterthought to increase the number of "tools"-in-1 number. Like I said, great piece of kit still. Just some finicky conponents. I wanted a pen and glass breaker and this does the job.

The initial skepticism went away the minute I held this instrument. The quality is as good at the performance. What I liked was the extra refills and batteries it came with. The light is good as a situational tool. I would not use it as a utility light, rather to save it until it was needed for survival. The pen writes surprisingly well. I would like to see a pen refill option for the space pen which is pressurized. Here the temperatures get sub-zero and I wonder if the ink would freeze or leak. The glass breaker would definitely breach a window and the tools are true to the manufacturer's description. The comments about the pen cap not being able to screw onto the other end while in use, are true. I wish a cap storage feature were present for ease of use. On the up-side, the pocket clip is beefy and may be wide enough to engrave as a gift. The instruction booklet included was a plus. This mini-brochure includes the warranty, product registration and ways to get accessories. The included sticker is a nice touch. The logo would make a great military patch or a lapel pin. A "Wicked-Cool" design by a "Wicked-Cool" company, and Bam! you have a "Wicked-Cool instrument"

This is a "tactical pen," which means that it can get you out of a number of jams. The tip is a sharp tungsten glass breaker for smashing your way out of a flipped vehicle, it has a nifty flashlight with both steady and pulse settings, a pen, of course, and a tiny multi-tool behind the point which can open a bottle (cheers!), scrape insulation off of a wire, or turn a 3/8-inch (?) nut. This pen is so cool, and the build quality is first-rate. It looks innocuous, so you can carry it anywhere except maybe not through the airport. I plan to clip it to my seatbelt whilst driving so if I have a roll-over, it will be right there in case I need to break my way out of the car. My wife had such an accident; she was hit by a tractor trailer. It does happen. Be prepared. This tool is good for a million applications. Very nice!

What I like about this tactical pen: 1. It is made of high-quality materials 2. It is comfortable to use/handle 3. It has good features and multiple uses What I dislike about this tactical pen: 1. In order to use the writing pen, the cap screws off but it does not screw back onto the other end, which makes it so that the cap must be either held or pocketed. This means that it is a very short writing utensil, which makes it uncomfortable to use in that manner. Suggestion to the makers of this tactical pen: Make the male threads on the glass breaker end match the female threads of the pen cap; this will make it so that the two pieces can be connected to make a longer pen and so that it will be less likely to drop or misplace the pen cap.

Liegt gut in der Hand, wertig, clever gelöster Aufbau. Bin sehr zufrieden.

Dieses praktische Werkzeug begleitet mich nun fast überall hin. Meist nutze ich es als Schreibgerät, gelegentlich auch als Lampe. Für weniger friedliche Zwecke musste ich es noch nicht einsetzen, bin aber gut mit der Handhabung vertraut und kann die Eignung bestätigen.

Lampe, Kuli, Kubotan, Glasbrecher - Top. Das Minitool ist auch zu gebrauchen, nachdem ich es mit einem kleinen Wetzstab vorsichtig nachgearbeitet habe. Ich habe 2 davon und einen Pen immer dabei.

Scheint stabil zu sein, den Rest muss man abwarten.
