An abstract game with time and murder!

You and your opponent are rival time travelers trying to wipe each other out of history. To prove that you are the only true inventor of time travel, you must use your invention to find your opponent in time and murder him - before he catches you! Unfortunately, your enemy has spread many copies of itself across the timeline, so you may have to perform the terrible act many, many times before you win. Just be careful not to be wiped out before!

"That Time You Killed Me" is an abstract, narrative game that introduces new scenarios with unique rules and components throughout the game. As with any game where it comes to fighting your way through time, you have to play it through in a strict, unchanging order. Do not open anything that you were not specifically asked to do! Whenever you reach a new chapter in the story, you open the appropriate box. Then (and only then) read the section in the rulebook dedicated to this chapter.

Three game boards in a row represent the past, the present and the future.

According to the basic rules, you murder a copy of the opponent by bumping him against the wall of the game board. Your copies are limited and murdered copies do not return to your reserve, because that would be disgusting! If you run out of copies, you won't be able to travel back in time as you can't leave a copy of yourself.

You win when your opponent has only one copy of himself over.
