Deleted all of my chrome and even did the front lip of my car. This was my first time and it turned out great. Was the easiest car project I’ve done. I definitely recommend this product if you want to do small projects.

Use this product in my 2024 dodge ram 2500. Been on for two weeks and still hasn’t come off. I would recount this product.

I used it to coat all of my badges on a 2008 Miata. It was fun and easy. The product works just as advertised. I did watch a YouTube video from Hyperdip that was very helpful and I would recommend watching it.

I bought this kit in piano black (you have to look on the bottom of the spray can to confirm it’s the correct color), and this was my first attempt at blacking out anything. I have a Kia Sorento so there were badges in the front and rear, along with the individual “Sorento” letters across the back that needed addressing. The emblem on the back was super easy to do. Some of the individual letters were tricky but I was able to finish them without needing to repeat any of them. The Kia badge on the front was tricky since its embedded into the grille – that one took three tries to get it right. This kit comes with a postcard sized list of do’s and don’ts; I definitely recommend following them! The most important thing I found was to be patient. They recommend to apply it using a number of coats and you want to be sure to let each dry completely. When you do the final coat, you may want to let it dry overnight prior to peeling – that’s how I finally got the front badge to come out okay. Check out YouTube as well. There’s plenty of videos showing you how to apply it, as well as remove any unintended overspray. Lastly, they threw in a few extra cans of HyperDip so I had way more than I needed to get the job done. Thanks!

I was a skeptic. I watched several YouTube videos and still just didn’t believe it until trying it myself. I painted my chrome window trim, and several chrome emblem pieces on my truck. I did take my time to prep all surfaces per the instructions. I did at least 7 coats total. This stuff is super durable. Truck sits outside in weather every day. Still looks perfect. No peeling, cracking, etc. Highly recommend. Much cheaper than replacing parts that are painted black.
