I recently purchased the Suction Cup Mount for my car's windshield and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. The mount is incredibly sturdy and has not budged even once during my daily commute. The suction cup is strong and holds the mount firmly in place, without any wobbling or slipping. What I appreciate most about this suction cup mount is how easy it is to install and use. The setup process was simple and straightforward, and I was able to attach the mount to my windshield in seconds. It feels like a factory UPGRADE from the official mount for my radar detector.

I was tired of the small two suction cups that came with the Cobra. Never sticking securly. The large suction cup replacement, attaches easily and also easy to remove from the glass. Perfect replacement.

"New and Improved" definitely applies here. I had the old version which I accidently broke and replaced it with the new one. This new version is clearly reengineered for the better and quite probably will last me for the rest of my life (but then I am very old, so there's that). Seriously, a great product and I strongly recommend it.

I use this for my Cobra rad 480i and it sliding snug but not too tight and locked in nicely the construction seemed as strong as any other in the suction cup seem to hold as good as all the others I've used only knocking one star off because I wish it tightened up on the angle adjustment a little bit better. Although after some very snug turns on the knob it seems that it will hold the angle I have it at just fine. This is the second section cup I have bought for my 480i the first one saying that it would fit but it was too tight to slide in and a slot was not wide enough for it to lock once you forced it in. so I am happy with this one.

Have had this stuck to the windshield with my radar detector for a few months and it has not fallen off , unlike some of the others I have tried. Works in temps above 100F and currently well below freezing at night. This product is easy to adjust and doesn't move when on rough goads. Would buy again if needed in another vehicle.

*UPDATE* 13 NOV 2023 -- The inside throat portion snapped. No pressures on it, no bumps, no accident, just came out to the car one day and detector was on my driver's seat, and this half was hanging from the windshield. Pealed the sticky adhesive off the glass, looked at it and where the spring wraps around, that plastic was snapped. As if the suction feature snapped the plastic guts in half. So, no fault of my own, just was too good for it self. Now off to find another make / model / specs that will work. ------- After a few trial and errors, I got it to stick and not fall down, however, we'll see what happens when the hot weather kicks in this summer. Works with Cobra XRS9570 Voice Alert 14 Band Radar/Laser Detector. I just put a little superglue gel on the metal tab and stuck it in, then let it dry, then that gave some GRIP it it and now it SORT OF clicks into place. It's NOT a custom fit for the Cobra XRS9570, but with some tape or super glue gel, you'll get it to work.

Worked as advertised.

Ordered this November of 2023. July of 2025 the suction cup just snapped off from the rest of it rendering it useless. A year and a half for 15 bucks isn’t terrible, but be nice if it lasted at least a couple years.
