The Philips Avent Natural Response bottle nipples allow baby to control the pace of milk as they are nursing. The unique opening and tip of the nipple releases milk only when your baby is actively drinking. Even if you pause swallowing or breathing, the milk will not flow. I am one of these crazy people that avoid plastics and I know the lid is plastic and nipple is silicone but I feel safe and have piece of mind that nothing bad leaching to my baby’s milk during warming milk/formula. Second of all I love this nipple. It works and looks like real nipple/ breast due to its ripples. It doesn’t leak if filter or put up side down or fall. Great fit. The baby has to actually suck in order to release milk/formula. It forces baby to correctly latch which minimize the amount of air it will suck so this itself makes it great choice. Less gasses less upset tummy. Durable, wash them multiple times a day and sterilize by emerging in boiling water and it works really well.

This nipple does not leak at all, even if the bottle is tipped upsidedown. Since the formula doesn't just drip out, the baby has to put in a bit of work for the milk. They wash well and can withstand the heat of sanitizing them. The baby has no complaints.
