Whoa. These ARE heavy duty. I needed to raise up a flat of seedlings a few inches to get them closer to their light so put the flat on TOP of one of these humidity domes. Rock solid. Absolutely Amazing!!! 100% worth the cost.

Like the trays.. these are hands down the best domes in the industry. I really want to think a bit less that I cannot get them in 7inch plus vs just the 5inches..but that is quickly forgiven due to the benefits. Strong, real vents, clear, not flimsy, stay true to form, usable handles... the ONLY complaint I have is the packaging tape that holds the multi packs together... it is hard to peel off in one piece....but.. awesome test..as if it was a traditional flimsy dome... it would be destroyed.

In my opinion these domes aren’t very sturdy. The plastic is flimsy. I was expecting the same level of sturdiness that their trays offer (which are excellent). A little thicker plastic would make a world of a difference for these domes.

These are made out of thick polypropylene (PP) in the USA (it is stamped on the bottom edge). They don't fit my Neversink Tools bottom trays perfectly, instead balancing on the top edges of the bottom trays. But they cannot slide off because the inner (Winstrip) trays are taller than the bottom trays that hold them. They certainly fit better than the flimsy plastic Jiffy tray lids I have been using! The Bootstrap Farmer humidity domes are translucent, not clear, which diffuses but undoubtedly reduces the amount of light reaching the seedlings. That is a potential downside, but fortunately I have some very bright lights https://www.amazon.com/VIPARSPECTRA-KS5000-Coverage-Spectrum-Commercial/dp/B09MTSY9G2?th=1 (which I highly recommend) that are easily up to the task. But if your light source is marginally bright enough, I would recommend buying clear humidity domes instead; or better yet, getting brighter lights (that is the best option.) I could have bought the Neversink Tools humidity domes (which fit their trays perfectly and are clear), but they don't have adjustable vents to regulate the humidity, and are slightly more expensive. Perhaps a toss up, but I wanted to try these to have the ability to reduce the humidity gradually (by adjusting the preinstalled vents) without resorting to some sort of wonky homemade lid spacers. If you aren't using inner trays (in the Neversink bottom trays), the Bootstrap Farmer domes would not work well with the Neversink bottom trays due to the risk of sliding off and damaging seedlings. All that considered, I recommend these trays for those with a bright light source seeking a truly durable humidity dome that has adjustable vents.

Excellent product, very stout. We ordered these because for the first time in 6 years mice were eating our seedlings under the lights. We ultimately had to restart the seeds twice. The domes arrived in time to protect the seedlings from heavy rains when we put them outside to harden off. Next year we will have them to protect the seedlings from the mice, too.

These saved my entire garden from a greenhouse rat that was eating everything that sprouted. I have "bootstrap" brand trays and seedling pots, these fit nicely and were tall enough to accommodate some growth. They also helped as a second layer of frost protection when it was too cloudy for the greenhouse to warm up between cold nights.

Very flimsy domes (See pictures), these are not like anything they advertise them to be. I don't even think they are acrylic, they're just a little thicker polythene. They don't fit properly on their own 1020 trays. Did not like them at all.

These are very well made and sturdy. They may cost more that other brands but will last in the long run. Very pleased with this purchase and this is the 3rd purchase from this company. Fast shipping and well packaged. Will keep purchasing from them in the future.

I just wany to say that these humidity domes are the cat's meow! the bees' knees...i am fantastically happy with these. theyre sturdy, professionally vented, and crystal clear! i'll be scooping up more of these for my sideline gardening bis. thank you SO much! see you again.
